  2. Who thought this was all part of a Liverpool conspiracy, pal?
  3. And to think this was only a few months ago. Maybe Ron is more annoyed than we are. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/fa-league-cups/southampton-vs-liverpool-ronald-koeman-urges-saints-to-push-to-next-level-a6756421.html
  4. You still banging on about this, pal. Don't do a MLG. You got it wrong. Move on.
  5. Sissoko always gets picked. He was a French regular well before Morgan broke into the squad.
  6. Around this time years ago he was playing in the WC in the Maracana under a picture perfect sunset. He well and truly šhât the bed.
  7. As opposed to the wife beater...
  8. 110 persaint?
  9. Bale had blistering speed and acceleration though. And he could run up and down that left touchline all day long. You could tell he was a 'freak' back then.
  10. So he did. Christ. Good spot Saint Clark. Hard to disassociate him from the whole disaster that was 2008-09.
  11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8444142.stm Has 'semi' been called up, now the club's taking the scattergun approach?
  12. Holmes didn't score for us in the NPC promotion season. If anything, he's representative of Lowe's glorious failed youth experiment. Indeed, wasn't he Lowe's first signing? Remember him appearing out of nowhere to start away at Millwall in 2010; but he hardly featured under the new ownership; and don't think he featured at all in our L1 promotion campaign.
  13. Do the trophy pic again... Fact is he isn't close to a regular starter. Most of his appearances came in the first half of the season due to injuries, suspensions and other contingencies. He's started three games this calendar year -and is no more than a fresh pair of legs at the moment. If Clasie kicks on and can actually finish more than 55-60mins -and indeed play two games in a week and we bring in some competition for Davis (as many on here hope), he'll find his opportunities even more limited.
  14. Adkins getting us out of the championship at the first attempt was no mean feat. Indeed, it was a huge achievement. The most optimistic on here had us sneaking into the playoffs while the majority had us midtable (or worse).
  15. Wrong. A loss tonight would have meant a draw against palace would have been sufficient to finish ahead of Liverpool (barring them beating WBA by three goals).
  16. It's far from irrelevant. Would have meant that a draw on Sunday might have been sufficient to finish above the scousers and get at least 7th.
  17. Ta. It's all crystal-clear. You deserve your own sticky on this
  18. Traore's been decent.
  19. The flowchart is clear. But a Liverpool loss or draw doesn't mean it's in our hands, as you stated.
  20. Yep thanks. that's right.
  21. Cheers. That's what I initially thought too.
  22. If tonight's result stands (or is a draw) and we beat palace, is this correct? If we finish 7th, we need United to win the FA cup and Liverpool to lose in the EL (assuming united finish 5th) If we finish 6th, we need United to win the FA cup assuming Liverpool win the EL (and united finish 5th) If we finish 6th and Liverpool lose the EL final, the fa cup is irrelevant, we qualify (assuming united finish 5th)
  23. Exactly. Not sure where this assumption of United not finishing 5th has come from.
