You're a tad confused. If anything the joke is on those (like you I suspect) who suggested that CL football would "never ever" happen without Man Cityesque spending and/or financial recklessness. If anything, those who have supposedly "*****ed and moaned" are fundamentally closer to the "Leicester example" for suggesting that a challenge could be mounted without doing anything close to a Man City, provided other conditions were in place. So no there isn't any inconsistency -and certainly not one relative to the "never ever" crowd. I notice of late youve been a bit antsy and flustered on here. Systematically dredging up old threads is often a leading indicator of a looming meltdown. Everything alright, pal?
