  4. Any good, 22-years-in-the-making-good?
  5. Can imagine Liam Neeson as Nige in the third one "what is wrong with you?"
  6. You should post more often -you put the mong into board
  7. Any "it was their cup final" quotes? c**ts
  8. But he's a CoC...
  9. Formation/personnel - the addition of a third central midfield and the sacrifice of one attacking player was the big change. Your two CMs and four attack-minded players left us horribly exposed and gave them too much space and respect.
  10. MLG's just touchy that we played his 'preferred' formation/personnel in the first half and looked poor. MP deserves credit for being ruthless and ditching it at HT.
  11. Agree, though Ramirez could have provided that. In the first half, he was stuck on the flank feeding on bits and pieces. With the addition of the 3 CMs, we were winning balls in dangerous positions and would have been ideal for Ramirez.
  12. Davis made a difference when he came on - our 3 CMs really got in their faces and snuffed out Carrick's supply. Would have liked us to go a bit more direct at times (when done well, they were rocking), though we did get in some good positions down the flanks playing patient football. Good to AL back- got closer to Lambert than Jrod. Still think we need another creative player. Gaston was poor but the system didn't suit him either. He would have been much better if he had started in front of 3 CMs who were winning the ball very high up the pitch and feeding our attackers in the final third.
  13. Extra central midfielder has made a difference - we're pressing much harder and higher up.
  14. Gone with the 3 CMs - perhaps should have started with them.
  15. Did you read my post? Has the whiff of the team that got comprehensively beat at Everton and West Brom. In other games, we've gone with 3 CMs and/or a more disciplined player like Guly. Even worse, whatever additional attacking threat we might pose is neutered by not playing Ramirez in his best position. At least we did that at QPR. Thus, against Chelsea, we played Cork, Davis and Morgan, sacrificing one of our front men; against Everton and Arsenal, we had the more disciplined Guly tracking back (I would not want Gaston covering our LB); and against Arsenal and Everton, Gaston was played in his best position i.e. in the hole. Try again.
  16. My mistake, I meant personnel and formation. Either way, it would still get hammered.

  18. That formation would get hammered -regardless whether you've integrated Fox.
  19. Got a call up by Nature?
  20. Or the other way round- Fox has been decent whenever he's been pushed further forward.

  22. Jury's out whether he's got the footballing ability. A few cup appearances out of position in a makeshift side dont really count but obviously the management see alot more of him behind the scenes. My understanding is that he likes it here but doesnt have the emotional nous and maturity to really buckle down and assert himself (partly cultural). The result is that he's drifted. It's telling that Yoshida who's a few years younger than Lee effectively treats him like a kid brother. Guess it wouldn't matter if he had bags of talent -he doesnt- so as it is no great loss.

  24. The CoC only does back door visits but feel free to let it in and share some of its literature.
  25. Exactly, that response was more adkins than adkins.
