  1. Christopher Biggins on angel dust?
  2. Certainly need to be brave to pull off a skinny jeans, tie and blazer combo. The bench coat is what saves it.
  3. Agree his throwing is excellent - very quick to see the early ball if something is on.
  4. Were they? 14 points from 8 games? Perhaps you should be front of the queue demanding a new stadium. FWIW I had us down for 5-6 points from those 4 games which would have been and still would be excellent. Like most on here I would imagine...
  5. Top 12? You do realise that 14 points from the last 8 games would put us in tenth and if we carried on that form till the rest of the season we'd have 50 or so points and on the basis of the last few seasons, that would be enough for 8th/9th? Alas if we had managed your 'positive'/'realistic' form over the course of the season, we would be fighting for a CL place. You're all over the place...
  6. Did they play 3 in central midfield that day? The increasingly immobile Gerrard and injured/ineffective Allen gave us a chance in the middle of the park. Might have been a different story if they had sacrificed one of their forward thinking players for Lucas. Notwithstanding this, Cork and Morgan were excellent.
  7. As much as you think Rome was built in a lunch break...
  8. Read your own post - you expected 14 points from 8 games. That's as ludicrous as its moronic. The Everton, Wigan, QPR and Norwich results are immaterial. FWIW, I didn't expect us to beat those 4. Why should I have? They're all tough games. Adkins never beat a top half side and mustered 5 wins in 22. And you expected him to win 4 in 8 and half of those on the road?
  9. No I didnt think we would get 14 points from 8 games. Champions League type form. Mastery of english not a forte?
  10. Then you're f**king deluded. You realise that's basically champions league form? Have a leaf through when you're not spouting s**t on here.
  11. You are usually pretty measured in your views but it seems that you've had a thing against Yoshida since day one. Which is not totally justified.
  12. You mean teams he failed to beat at home.
  13. Totally agree - its an utter myth. Wasn't the argument also that we couldn't score from open play under Adkins.
  14. Same thing being said on their forums too - and I thought it was meant to be a good result. After all it was against a decent midtable team in decent form.
  15. So did Yoshida cost us the game? Take your time...
  16. We certainly played much better today than we did against Norwich at home. Not convinced that Adkins would have done things massively different. Think you're clutching for easy answers.
  17. So Yoshida didn't cost us the game then?
  18. Leave the wummery to the experts, you tedious little to$$er.
  19. you're a cvnt - read every post with that agenda in mind
  20. Sunderland was just as bad -and that was when we were supposedly on the up.
  21. Not sure - Sunderland did a job on Lambert and the rest of the team stuttered. Doesnt matter who's in charge - we go hot and cold depending on Lambert's performance. Can you think of a time we played well when Lambert wasn't getting joy whether under NA or MP? Go to the qpr forum and I bet they're all creaming themselves over Samba's performance rather than any other aspect of the game.
  22. But it confirms what you think, no? . You have no idea why some Espanyol fans may have thought he was one-dimensional -or indeed you might be bulls****g. Today's performance had more with how we've been setting up for ages than any real influence from a manager who's been here a measly six games.
  23. I'll be charitable and limit it to our performances.
  24. We had no plan B under Adkins. Snuff Lambert out and we're in trouble. Today was almost a carbon copy of the Sunderland performance and result.
  25. You haven't got a clue
