To the Kingland scarfer with the grey hair...

LOL. I feel the same but today I actually thought the crowd were pretty good but the players seemed so bloody lethargic - why oh why?? When against Cardiff we looked so up for it. What's happened??? -

Mate, I am full of admiration for the fella. I'm not having a go, merely pointing out that having a go at me, is not likely to earn us any points. -
All that's required is to reignite the passion that saw us win three on the spin against three top sides. What the hell went wrong???

There was a murder today. For eighty minutes we murdered Championship football until I could take no more. If we murdered QPR for the last ten minutes, I would expect us to be out on parole soon enough to murder another game... sadly...

Ah correct; the one that Redknapp's wife could have scored. In fact, even Darren Bent might have scored but not today for Euell. Shame, set the pattern for the game and the game didn't let us down...

In answer to your question, yes I would like my team to be in the Championship next season. But sadly, your and my combined vocal talents and those of the entire stand are not missing sitters, skipping tackles and generally wandering about St Mary's playing surface looking like we've missed the last train from platform 9. Can I suggest you vent your enthusiasm towards the muppets who expended more energy gelling their hair for today's game than putting a tackle in or chasing, harrying and bullying a low-on-confidence, no win in nine games QPR into submission... Much obliged.

Two shots on goal? Did I blink. One shot from Gillett that frankly would have struggled to cross the line under its own steam and Lallana opting to use his right foot to dissect post and corner flag when his left foot would have seen the net bulge...

Man in suit with hands in pockets showing all the passion and inspiration of an Outspan orange?

He's probably only got another 40 years on earth?

Mate, you need glasses. Euell actually put himself about well but his finishing was woeful. McGoaldrought played like a drain. Mind you, they all did. A woeful example of the worst kind of boll0x awful football that is driving away fans in their droves. I'd rather remove my own spleen than watch another game like that. In fact, just bottle that game and sell it as an anaesthetic...

A pants game of football which I was glad to leave ten minutes early to watch crops growing alongside the M3 for more entertainment.

Despite our good form relegation is still likely

At the outset of the season, then the chances of going down would be 1 in 8 (3 in 24). But that's not the odds of going down, which take a number of factors into account. And that's from someone who just scraped at B at o-level -
We could be looking at gates of 8-10,000 next season.

Doesn't matter how old you are, this recession makes everyone think twice about their discretionary spending. Pensioners living off savings have been royally screwed over by the Bank of England as their savings have been depleted horrendously. Kids are probably finding their mum's and dads hard up. I'm not down to my last two bob, but every week I think twice about whether I should really be spending £50 on a trip to the football at the moment... Factor in poor performances and well... -

TBH, it's pretty straightforward until you get into fractions... then you're on your own!!! -

I think you have to take the recession seriously when it comes to attendances. They have cancelled events I was going to because of fears over ticket sales! And Birmingham has been hit hard with all the car factories reducing hours or laying staff off. -

No, if you put a tenner on us you will win £11. That's what 11/10 means. (You will get back £21 in total if we are relegated.) -

Charlton's odds at 1/14 equals a 14/15 chance of relegation in my book. -

3-1 equals a 25% chance. Does that help? -

Even Money equals a 1 in 2 chance - or 50%. The odds of a coin falling heads are even money (1 in 2) - 50%, Evens. So 11/10 is slightly better odds than even money. Does that help? -
It is obvious to all but the most ardent Rupert supporter that we had an opportunity in 2003 to retain the nucleas of a good squad and add to it. Instead, we sold Bridge and failed to use the money to strengthen elsewhere to attain the mythical next level (in other words, simply improve on where we were). We all know the players WGS wanted but was not allowed to have - Drogba, Mido, Malbranque... But that's Rupert, he does not believe in inevesting in quality footballers - but rather prefers radio stations, catering and bloated squads of young, not quite good enough, footballers...

If we win our game in hand (which we can't until April) we are 1 point behind Forest and still have to play them, which makes that game the one that puts the destiny back in our hands... -
My recollection is that we were all in a state of dismay that Lowe had appointed a fecking rugby coach to Director of Football and that we can trace back a downward spiral at this club to the day we lost Strachan. Everything after that has been b0ll0cks, plain and simple.

The prices relate almost directly to league position. In essence it's like they priced up the Grand National after the last fence in the order the horses are running. What is doesn't take account of is how much gas is in the tank, whether one animal might break a leg, whether a jockey will lose his whip, etc... Our main problem is that we have gained nothing on our rivals when we've won, because so have they. We threw away winnable games earlier in the season and have now left ourselves a mountain to climb. Six points this week are essential, and even then we could still be third bottom and adrift of our rivals. What we need is the PLAYERS to believe that destiny is in their hands and to do something with it! They seemed to before yesterday, let's hope they do again this week.
