I'm not going to trawl through this thread but I think Alex Smithies would be a good long term replacement for KD, possibly looking at him in the summer more than now, but what do people think? He has more potential than Bart IMHO (but what do I know?)

Worked there last year, was a good crack! Might make the trip this year! I'm probably going to Hurricane in Germany (went last year during the World Cup, banter was plentiful even with my lack of German knowledge!) and also possibly Bestival, worked there 3 years in a row and had fun at all of them, also its close =]

I've never tried to get the bus on NYD so I wouldn't know TBH, but the main point I was making was that on the bus stub of the ticket I'm sure the club could have just had "NO BUSES" or even just the XXX that you get on receipts. I'm not blaming anyone just thought it would have been a nice touch.

I don't know how widely it was advertised but maybe the club could have had it written on the ticket stub or something? Not everyone checks the internet, and I'd have probably assumed there was a sunday service if I went.

Just been reading about St. Mary's on Wikipedia and it says in reference to possible expansion the following All stands bar the Itchen can be built upon and expanded if ever deemed necessary, which would give an approximate capacity of around 50,000. However this would cost a similar amount to how much it cost to build the stadium in the first place. However, due to the upcoming Rugby World Cup, the stadium could be expanded to around 45,000 - 50,000 by the IRB as it has been chosen to host pool matches during the Rugby World Cup. The club will not pay anything for the expansion, however this is all subject to approval and planning permission. It says citation needed which gives the impression that its all fabricated but does anyone know if there's actually any truth in this? Sorry if its been asked before I couldn't find it in search.

this is what i was referring to, at the bottom it says: “If we receive a credible offer to stage an event on this location we would be happy to support this.” So I can only assume they haven't found anyone?
