  1. He's doing what he did with Connolly last season. Leave him out of the starting 11 and just bring him on for the odd few minutes; giving him a taste for playing but leaving him desperate for more. Continue to do so, winding him up like a tightly wound spring until he's at the point of desperation. Then, with 5 or 6 games to go, unleash him into the team! He goes on a run of scoring games and fires us to the Premier League!
  2. The way I see it, it's West Ham who need to be worried, not us.
  3. I think you need to upload the image to a website such as imageshack then put the link to it.
  4. Could someone please copy and paste the article on to here? Can't see it on the mobile site.
  5. If we can score within the first 20 minutes it should be a comfortable afternoon.
  6. I expect Cortese has probably had the budget for a Premier League season sorted sice we were in League One.
  7. This.
  8. It'll be this but with the other fullbacks (Richardson and Harding) I think.
  9. I expect so! He was good against them away to be fair, but hasn't been up to much in a couple of months. I expect it will be Lee up front but if not I'd be surprised if Connolly gets the nod ahead of Sharp. Saying that I have been surprised when NA brings Connolly on as a sub and not Sharp, like he did on Saturday.
  10. Great, cheers for the info!
  11. I reckon this, but possibly with Sharp in for Lee. I'd imagine Lee will either start and come off at half time or soon after, or Sharp start and Lee on around 60 minutes.
  12. That's the one. Let's get it going.
  13. Surely Sharp will be involved in some capacity, though I think Lee has been excellent so far and would start him if he is fit. We could always play Sharp, Lambert and Lee!
  14. What's 50% of f*ck all?
  15. Exactly what I thought. If you press the button on that crossing the traffic lights change straight away as well so you don't even need to wait.
  16. Love it! Especially Lee jumping like a child and the passion on Morgan's face.
  17. Absolutely brilliant. If we go up we will look back at that performance like we looked at Forte's 2 goals against MK Dons last season. Loved seeing Lambert so happy with him in their post-match interview. If we get promoted I hope he's the first to be congratulated, for his loyalty and today's performance.
  18. Reading score!
  19. Tadanari Lee is on the plane so should be in the squad hopefully.
  20. Just driven through Bursledon and Hamble road is completely blocked off by police cars. Turns out a young girl aged 4 has been killed in a collision with a motorbike . RIP to her, and thoughts with all her family. I also hope the motorcyclist is ok, as it is surely a tragic accident. 2 families' lives ruined in one split second.
  21. Our remaining away fixtures are a bit of a mixed bag, with a fair few tough looking games still to come. Going by the average points needed for promotion in the last few seasons, winning our home games and drawing our away game should get us enough points. However, I think it's far more likely that we will do it by winning 2 or 3 of them as there's a good chance we will lose some. The remaining away games are Leeds, Millwall, Hull, Blackpool, Crystal Palace, Peterborough and Middlesborough. Obviously should we draw all of them, we'd get 7 points. Out of that lot I think wins at Millwall, Palace and Peterborough are all realistic targets, as well as the odd point from the others. Just wondering how others feel we will fair away from home for the rest of the season, and whether we'd be (hypothetically) better off drawing all of them (therefore not giving the likes of Blackpool any points over us) or winning the 'easier' games and losing others?
  22. I'd imagine it's fairly certain he'll start on Saturday and although I've been at all the games he's played in so far, I'm still excited to see him in a saints shirt and can't wait for him to really get going.
  23. I gave some money when we played Doncaster away. Hopefully they'll organise collections at our home game against them too.
