If one of the strikers was going to play slightly further forward than the other I'd say it'd be more likely to be Sharp. Lambert seemed to be playing a bit deeper against Millwall and it would allow him to pull the full backs wide (as he likes to do) whilst leaving a danger man, in the form of Sharp, in the middle.

Jason Puncheon in The Sun: I was no Saint

I'm still trying to work out what the blanked out swear word is. Is it bugger? -
They tend to just go on what the club tells them so wouldn't read to much into that.

If I was Howe I'd be telling my players to press us high up the pitch and not let our midfield play. If I was Adkins I'd be trying to work out how to play when this inevitably happens.

I'm right at the beginning of my career and having tried (albeit briefly) a couple of office jobs I decided that it really wasn't for me, mainly for the same reasons as the OP. So 2 months ago I decided to look into teaching, did some voluntary work and have just been offered my first job in a school. It may not be the best paid profession but I'm loving it at the moment.

When fit we could play Cork and Chaplow in CM. Cork defensive and Chaplow making runs into the box.

The main positive for me was Ben Reeves- he looked class.

Could anyone tell me what time the ticket office is open until tomorrow please? Assuming my tickets don't come in the post tomorrow I'd like to collect them on the way to the pub at around 5.45ish. On the OS it states that it's open until 30 minutes after kick off on a matchday, but not sure whether that is applicable to Tuesday night games. Cheers!

An hour travel on the ever unreliable train to Havant!

Lallana >>> Carr. See video of St Mary's nutmeg and subsequent foul for proof.

Well at least Lee should feel at home at St Mary's!

I think if we can keep it tight for the first 60/70 minutes, playing more on the counter, then we can really push on towards the end of the game and snatch a win.

Got absolutely crunched and got straight up off and running. Enough said.

Don't see the point in getting into mud slinging arguments about attendance, it's not as if the people arguing have any influence on their club's overall attendances. With regards to the game, I think we fans and more importantly Adkins and the players should assume Birmingham have their strongest team available. We all remember what happened when we went away to injury struck Cardiff and Brighton.

Because some teams are better than us?

Our new team with Billy Sharp starting?:

Definitely. Fwiw I thought Fox's distribution was poor last night and lost us the ball too much, but he's the best we have. With Sharp up with Rickie I think we will be able to play our whole game further up the pitch. -

I'd go with last night's line up but with Jos for Martin and Sharp for Connolly. -
So many times I've watched in frustration as Lambert pulls out to the wings and puts in a great ball, only for no one to get on the end of it. 'If only we had another Lambert in the middle to finish it off' I've thought. Well now we have Sharp to do just that. Excellent!

We're in the Championship. HTH -
BBC Radio 5 live senior football reporter Ian Dennis on Twitter: "Matt Upson will stay at Stoke if Danny Higginbotham leaves #SCFC. A lot of Championship clubs keen on Higginbotham #bbcfootball"

I think I'd be more worried if he went to one of the teams below us. WHU have got plenty of strikers and waste most of them.
-
He is number 11 because '1' is a very sharp number. Just like Hooper is 88 because '8' is a very hoopy number. FACT.

Disagree, he certainly won't get as many starts, but still think he'll play a fair bit. -
Will celebrate when it's signed and on the OS, until then I remain nervous and (Very slightly) skeptical.
