I think in the long term that's probably about right, but Adkins won't drop a player just because he's bought another in their position- look at Harding and Fox. There's no way a new striker would walk straight into the team, no matter how much we pay for them. He will have to settle for the bench until Connolly or Lambert stop performing and he proves he's worthy of replacing them. IMO.

Is it 5 or 7 on the bench for League cup?
