  1. 2-1 P'borough
  2. Same price as buying on the day here I think. But anyway, we could be toppled from top spot tonight. Edit: sorry get what you meant now, that it's cheaper to buy up there.
  3. Would be great to see Barnard on the bench.
  4. And Michael Svennsson.
  5. Personally I've been a little disappointed so far but I think he'll improve back to his best with a solid and consistent partner, hopefully Hooiveld.
  6. Was going to post the same thing. How old is he now? Also, do we have to register players to play for the under 21s or can anyone play?
  7. Just booked train up on the Tuesday and back on the Wednesday morning- £2.50 return
  8. Constantly remind people of my age! So many old people feel the need to tell you that their '87 next year' or 'nearly 90 years of age'. And they always round it up!
  9. I can sort of understand your comments about his lack of physical pace and strength, but what do you mean by 'tries to [sic] much'? As in tries to hard or is too fancy?
  10. Well, it is an example of people being determined to find something negative within the club.
  11. Yes but it's hardly being presented to us in a neutral manner : "Yet another example, if any where needed, of just what sort of sad individual is running our club."
  12. Personally, having met and dealt with the majority of people in charge of the Ex-Saints and their charity work, I think it is unlikely that they would ask the club anyway. And might I add that they are a great group who do a lot of good work for charity, it is just unfortunate that they don't always see eye to eye with the club, but I don't think the charity speak out against or criticise the club publicly.
  13. Worryingly I don't have any kids or young siblings but I've seen Grandpa In My Pocket!
  14. Whoever plays on the wings is going to need to ensure that they support the full back defensively, with the Cardiff fullbacks, particularly McNaughton, looking to get forwards when possible. This said, there will consequently be gaps in the Cardiff defense that we can look to exploit on the counter attack. For this reason it may be good to have De Ridder's pace, though I don't think he will start. I'd like to see something like this: ---------------Davis--------------- Richardson--Fonte--Hooiveld--Fox --------Morgan--Hammond-------- ---------------Cork----------------- ----------Connolly--Lallana-------- -------------Lambert--------------- With the 3 CMs giving the defense support when Cardiff are attacking, doubling up on the wings and also nullifying Whittingham a bit, but still enough going forward to cause them plenty of problems.
  15. Lol at your 'full member'/ 'registered user' status.
  16. Or SC is sacked the game before we're due to play them and Gray takes over.
  17. 'nough said.
  18. Lol. Don't sit on the fence, tell us how you feel? Who's back has he stabbed, as far as I can see he's always been frank and up front with everyone, whether being friendly or not.
  19. It is so candid it almost seems like it was an interview with a Saints fan pretending to be Cortese!
  20. Well I watched the Leeds match and personally don't think he was that great. Good at the instinctive poacher stuff but nowhere near as influential as Connolly and Lambert are in our build up play. With time on the ball he didn't look like he had the quality.
  21. Look on Poyet's face at final whistle = priceless.
  22. Bet Brighton score again lol.
  23. haha get in there!
  24. Just stupid from Leeds, they have a good counter, man on the overlap and the man on the ball tries a shot from 35 yards.
