Not according to Slickmick as he is concerned with the pauper's id. Hopefully the pauper has forked out £60 for a new id card at his local chemist. Now that is crass management! -

'Churchillian' or Napoleonic? Otherwise spot on. -

Hypo don't you think an update on the general situation would be useful as it seems to me Wotte is the most senior person at the club and Fry cannot talk on behalf of it. It may be honest but I think perhaps it's more realistic but are they being open and honest with 90% of the stuff that is not being said. -
Alastair Darling is a Saints fan - why not? Everyone else involved at a high level in this sorry mess is alleged to be one!
-
Um 90% of the damage had been done before in the previous two seasons and if you and others can start to at least acknowledge that fact we can all move forward together.

Season tickets bought over 6 months interest free

Half the average supporters weekly benefit up there so in real terms the most expensive ticket you can buy. Anyway buy a season ticket and you would have paid about £16 a game and guaranteed your seat for the Man U training match. -

Indeed probably lamenting about the early decisions of the new owners and lack of communications and disregard for fans before the board agreed to changing staff's lunchtime rota. Then it will be post after post of how we allowed Fry to shaft the club and how its typical Saints and fans need to protest because Thomas the Tank Engine should never have been made mascot. It's the old quiet professionalism vs. banshee rhetoric approach once again. -
Ho Ho - anyway I blame Frank's Cousins for lowering the spelin standards on this forum. Still if we are all grown up about it we can understand the gist without the need of downloading another Bill Gates spell checker. Anyway when we resort to pointing out the spelin erors of others we kinda lose any argumint we are tying to make. Makes you wunder if FC does it on purpoise.

Season tickets bought over 6 months interest free

Sounds a good idea. In the past I have used the club's 0% scheme as I have bought 2 or 3 dependent on personal circumstances and so I have done so on interest free on the basis the money is better of earning interest in my account and theirs. Now that situation has been reversed with low interest rates so I don't have a problem paying up front especially as it will help the club get on its feet at least until next season. I expect in the past the finance company took a cut for offering the facility and probably more than the cut credit card companies charge them for facilitating sales through them. So pay up front if you can for this season at least or follow Michelle's suggestion whilst heeding the warning of others. -
Seem's I have a new fan.

I agree if he sticks to football issues on the pitch. -
You know it is.

Maybe Pat but its the other 23 hours and 45 minutes that I have trouble dealing with although Julian Clegg's show on the point deduction day was very good. I thought he tried really hard to act bothered didn't you? -

No, but about 50 of those fans believe they will. -

Don't buy the Echo too often then Ponty. There is nothing low-rent about McMenemy. -

Solent? Is their a gardening forum on here that I have missed or one devoted to popular music with an expired copyright. As for the Echo this forum must be on the payroll, is it? -

A strange comment to make and I will take it as good humoured banter;). Still nice to see we have a unified approach going into the dawn of a new era and not arguing over who should be running the club based on rumour and conjecture. Lets start undermining bids and promising boycotts because we are in a strong position to be able to this aren't we? -
I think GM is suggesting that a derisory offer could fail as the creditors will simply suggest liquidation of the assets will raise more revenue. That would result in no club (in my uderstanding) rendering points deductions irrelevant.
-
GM hasn't this been the very real risk from Day 1 and outlined by Clapham Sainst a couple of months ago when some seemed to be championing administration. Now we have HMRC in the mix it could be even worse as negotiation doesn't exist in their vocabulary and their debts a little worse than ours. Start with a sale of all players on a contract, where evry buyer knows your screwed then Jackson's farm, then Staplewood. I'm not sure the council can justify buying the stadium. At least in Hull the stadium supports more than one sport and has a year round revenue stream but everytime I hear someone opine on the subject from the council they seem to be having trouble to reconcile the purchase to themselves let alone justify it to the council tax payers of Southampton. I think any offer that avoids this scenario should be accepted but that's not down to us or Fry.

Might explain his chunky look this season. Hopefully he doesn't get paid and the donations raised are used to support more worthwhile and needy causes. The monthly wage run should start low and continue up until the money runs out IMO.

TS Elliott was definitely a Saints fan: 'Success is relative: it is what we can make of the mess we have made of things' or 'Time present and time past Are both perhaps present in time future And time future contained in time past' Better 'Teach us to care and not to care, teach us to sit still!'

Badger, I think you'll find Chaucer was a Rotherham supporter

Not so disgruntled tonight then Daren but still far from gruntled by the looks of it. Sharp reply, who wrote that for you?
-
Is that a prediction? Also, like Ponty I have had a bad case of indigestion a while ago and back in the good old days of no bottle tops allowed a young fellow gave me very wet feet by kicking over his full bottle of coke as he arose to applaud the team on the pitch. Those hotdogs can be an assault on your insides so I think that counts don't you?
