  1. B*gger if I'd have known he could have bought a ticket for my mate for 25 quid less than I could get it for as a 'VALUED' ST holder! Making sense yet?
  2. I will - but I'll be on my own unlike the fecking non-ST holders
  3. Getting there. Wrong way round though for the 'member' cos his mate only paid £30 for a ManU ticket. My mate has to pay £55. The ST holder has already chosen to buy a ManU ticket knowing they already had paid around £20 for the Carlisle game. The 'member' bought their ManU ticket in the knowledge that it was going to cost £55. Their mate then wanted to come and cos they had already committed £55 their mate pays £30. My mate still pays £55. So, who's the creative accountant now? ST holder £30 ticket for Manu + £20 already in the bag ticket for Carlisle = £50 ST holder mate £30 ticket for Manu + £25 ticket for Carlisle = £55 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Member' £30 ticket for Manu + £25 ticket for Carlisle = £55 'Members' mate £30 ticket for ManU
  4. Nope, non-ST holders who have already purchased a linked ticket can get non-linked tickets now for £30ish. ST holders can't and have to buy a linked ticket for £55
  5. ARGHHHHHH and there in lies the reason for my OP - why.... (my head hurts too) If a tree falls in a forest when there's no one around......
  6. Finally we've got there. As a ST holder I have already paid for my next game (at a discount included in my £400 or so ST price) so my 'on paper' outlay at the moment is £30ish for the Man U ticket + my ST price for the next home game (let's say £20). A non-ST holder has had to buy a ticket + a linked ticket - so they've paid £55. Current position for us to see the next two games: Season ticket holder - £50 Non-ST holder = £55 Now, both of us want our mate to sit next to us cos it's gonna be cold and we want to cuddle at half time to warm up: Season ticket holder extra ticket = £55 Non-ST holder extra ticket = £30 Good here init.
  7. That'll be £55 thank you very much
  8. *sigh* The 'offer' is to anyone who has already bought a ticket to the Man U game can now buy an unlinked ticket for a friend to the Man U game. That is unless you have bought your Man U ticket as a season ticket holder - if so, you have to buy a linked ticket. Got it yet? The fact is, I'm a member who's bought a United ticket but now a mate wants to come as well. If I was a non-member I'd be able to get him a ticket for circa £30. As I'm not a non-member he has to pay £55. So what's the advantage of being a ST holder then? Maybe you like to screw your mates for a few more quid but I'd like to be able to let them see that there's advantages to being a ST holder in getting tickets.
  9. But that part timer has an advantage over me now as they can buy an unlinked ticket but I as a ST holder can't. We are both sat at the same game, having bought a ticket to this game and the next but his mate sat next to him has paid 30 quid but my mate has paid 55 quid .. fair ?
  10. No idea.. they won't sell me any tickets
  11. Glad to see you changed your original post so much. You're too blinkered with your 'im alright' attitude to understand the situation. I'm surprised cos I had you down as one of the more intellectual folks on this forum. Hey Ho.
  12. Whoop de doo - happy to be corrected but I thought we paid about £3 or so less per game and that's us if we go to every single game (i.e. gambling on vacation, work commitments, game reschedules and illness). The benefit is even more so weakened by these types of scenarios.
  13. Not sure why you aren't getting it - thought it was pretty straight forward to all those apart from the TO. If I'm a non-ST holder and buy a ticket to the ManU game I am now allowed to buy further tickets that aren't linked to any other games. However, if I'm a ST holder who already has tickets to the next home game(s) as per my ST and has also paid for their ManU ticket can't buy a further ticket unless I buy another linked game.. Don't see why someone who's a non-ST holder who has bought a linked ticket can buy a ticket for their mate now with no penalty but, for me, I have can only buy an additional ManU ticket if I buy another home game ticket - HUH?
  14. Or are a season ticket holder
  15. B*ll&x. I am a ST holder and therefore definitely have a ticket for the Carlisle game by default. The club is once again penalising ST holders. Those that never go to games but like the fact we're playing ManU have bought a seat with a linked game (paying £50 or so) but for someone who's paid over a grand for 4 season tickets and then bought tickets to every other cup home game isn't allowed to buy additional Man U tickets this morning. Those that paid £50 are laughing - those that shelled out £1,000 at the start of the season to show their commitment to the club aren't? Check out officalsaints twitter - even they are confused on what's right and what's wrong. Fact is, ST holders should be given some kind of incentive to renew next year and, at the moment, I'm not sure what that is?
  16. The local now though is The Heros near you.... We tend to drink at home now
  17. And there-in lies the problem as the ticket office say you need to buy another Carlisle ticket.... Madness Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
  18. So we have our four ST seats for the Man U game and hear that the restriction on 2nd game linked tickets has been removed. Mrs TS calls up the TO today only to be told that ST holders have to still buy a linked ticket. At the moment the OT says ST holders dont need to purchase linked but Im told this is about to be removed. WTF is going on? Being a ST holder appears to be a negative position at the moment!
  19. Back on the curry then?
  20. Bottom right three in, two blokes. I'm amazed that they are so observant.
  21. Just got a text message from Twitter with the same "officialsaints: Keep your eyes on http://www.saintsfc.co.uk - announcement coming up in the next 5 mins #saintsfc" Oooooooooooo
  22. Bit gutted but a team cant rely on a single player. Hoping for a quick recovery though.
  23. A bit windy here at St Marys today. Let's hope it makes us pass it on the ground to feet. On a different it appears they've fixed the PA... sounding good today (the technology not Stuart)
  24. Look at the Android market and specifically HTC phones. If you want a cheap intro you can get a nonHtc Orange San Francisco for about £100 on Payg (and its very easy to unlock). You wont look back! Ive had iphones and Nokias and BBs in the past.
  25. Divorce
