I wouldnt be so sure, there were some massive percentage wage rises included in contracts which came into effect sooner than the club expected which apparantly caused us issues getting rid of some of our league 1 deadwood that didnt want to go. I fully expect Gaston and certainly Osvaldo to be arpund tobys wage level. This isnt the championship, we wont be paying 40k to our top players, fonte will be on around 50-60k pretty easily id of said. Like Steve says, if our genuine ambition is top 6 then 75k a week shouldnt be something we would baulk at IMO. As without players at that level we wont stay there.

Id of said a fitting way would be to run yourself over ? Or alternatively go vigilante on those mason mother****ers

Ahh no thats not it clarkey, boy gets plenty of unfair criticism

Lallana and schneiderlin, hoovield, maya, fox, davis, boruc, forster, guly, manè The list continues, JWP has somehow got a bit of stick of some people after arsenal. The problem is we have some kneejerk thickos that dont seem to understand football

Thanks goats Pretty ironic

Made me lol that did. His 'examples' were when liverpool were in possession and the defence was under no pressure.

You only have to look at Lampard, Scholes and Gerrard. Any half decent england manager should have done ok with any one of those three in reality. What happened was a sad pressganging of three AM into a side that couldnt support them. And so, a golden generation of england midfielders was wasted

The more you type the more I realise your an idiot
-
Missed ? No, its a shame he isnt still here though as he will still make an excellent england CB one day.

Wanyama or Clyne for me.

You said the only option is suicide again ? Which I assumed was you realising you needed another 'rebirth'
-
What are you saying that the jury is wrong ? Thats a strong accusation

This But he isnt at the same level as Vic or Morgan, which begs the question, does HE want to sign a new contract ? As I can obviously understand why WE would want him to. The only question would be whether Reed is making noises about wanting more playing time, and so having to accomodate all of our excellent options. That could create a bit of a situation for Koeman, not necessarily the worst of situations granted.
-
Im not biased, he has been an excellent player for us, its only in your head that you believe that means Ive labelled him at the same level as Costa and RVP. Name calling or not I find this whole conversation about the difference between brilliant and excellent pretty pathetic and I cant really be arsed to carry it on anymore. Thankfully everyone else on this thread could see what I was trying to say.
-
Yes, but there is a difference between those saying he was out of form and the others being typical saintsweb morons batters
-
RVP and Costa are on my Brilliant list, which is one above my Excellent, Excellent list that holds Pellè, Benteke and Bony, under that is Excellent which includes Lambert last year So on etc Its a shame you get so hung up on vocabulary when its obvious that its the 'not being a complete bellend' is the part of your posts you need to work on.

Like who ? Only really Scholes was at his level in CM. Lets not get into another Gerrard/Lampard/Scholes arguement, its been done to death. What I will say is its an absolute England travesty that with those 3 atleast the managers we have had were unable to do anything better than some blood and guts abject performances.
