Attacking midfield, he doesnt possess the natural ability to tackle or intercept as effectively as big vic or morgs but he has the brain to harry opposition in the final third Added to his excellent ability in passing, crossing etc and early signs that his footballing brain from an attacking pov defies his age. He plays like an experienced attacking minded midfielder IMO and think he'll end up an excellent player

Harry Reed; Morgan's Heir Apparent.

This IMO, his game is nowhere near as expansive as Morgans and he doesnt have the pure athleticism either. Very very good player, but more of a little terrier. I have to say it, as good as he is I dont see the 'best player to come out of the academy' just yet. -
He has been poor past couple of games, culminating in an aweful performance at utd Playing well today though
-
Always liked him, is quick, strong, good in the air and works hard Needs to sort those crosses though
-
Well, I wouldnt of, in fact was in the same situation today and ignored the keeper and cleared it. Its all about taking responsibility, was too far from forster, clyne was trying to occupy whats his name and Gardos cleared Was a fluke, nothing more

Tbf that started as a **** take of that loon on the rooney street soccer crap. The show is past it though, some of it is still valid, the crossbar challenge, showboats, last weeks goals etc but the sketches are so far past it and yes I dont care about some band nobodies heard of, nor the two presenters. Couldnt agree more re the fantasy football bit. Take the best bits off of Soccer AM, extend fantasy football and chuck it on pre sat games

Part of the contract he recieved to go on there, they even took away his saints mug and put a picture of cortese in his blue dressing room The bastards
-
Just cant see it, he isnt a big enough name, they'll go for the likes of matuidi, strootman etc before looking at Morgan fortunately. Id imagine he'll either stay in the prem, which is most likely, or perhaps PSG ? TBH, Arsenal, Liverpool, utd and City probably should be looking at him

It can be something stupid like an extra 1m a game plus the TV money associated which must equate to about 20mish Then potential to get better spinsorship deals. Match revenue etc And Batman, we've got this far, and through a fixture schedule over december many thought we would succumb to, many of which knew what they are on about.
-
I cant see him at real personally, they have Kroos and illarramendi
-
Yeah, more or less Though nothing is specifically agreed, but this tends to happen to ensure there is an oppurtunity to make something happen, and basically why you dont tend to see many deals fall through after fees agreed anymore
-
No No you dont
-
And the fact that he doesnt fit the system ?! And the fact that Long is employed on the right due to his workrate and not to score goals ? Unfortunately DT just doesnt get it

Theres always people that go over the top on things, coincidentally I was more worried in the summer then during admin.. In a weired way. The way I saw it in admin we had dropped so much we were unlikely to drop further, those that said we were in danger were IMHO wrong. We would have been picked up by someone. In the summer ? There was a very real threat that the wheels were not only off but off down the road. The board were early on a little naive, thats not to say they didnt overcome the issues, they did, with aplomb. However the likelyhood of a similar situation having the same results must be slim.
-
It certainly wasnt an asset strip but lets be honest, anyone that wasnt concerned with what transpired in the early summer was either mental or lying

FWIW ive had two recons and now playing a higher level then I was before. Need any tips send me a PM, just make sure you follow all their rehab advice, you really dont want to rehab it twice, its exhausting

When your face, or style ...doesn't fit the formation...
Smirking_Saint replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
Good post David. How do you avoid it ? By having a set out club way of playing, targets identified and sanctioned within a committee and managers that dont hold all the power in the buying a formation department. -
Exactly this MLG you are wrong
-
Then I think you have completely missed the point

Yeah we had people like that, the older guys used to withold the fault location knowledge or specifically how to use the equipment. I can understand, in a way, why, as it brought in extra overtime and call outs. In the end I got of my ass and taught myself. Much to their surprise. Im a 132kV SAP HV engineer myself. The energy industry is currently on its backside IMO with a ageing workforce very much retiring and taking much of the knowledge with them. Im trying my best to pick up everything I can but I am more than happy to train anyone that needs it, not a fan of the withhold knowledge at all costs approach. Ill move on one day perhaps. It irks that they are happy to pay £200 an hour to a contractor that on more than one occassion has asked me to do some testing, or teach him how to do it. Especially when they claim they are unable to pay me any more. Nice to know its more than just my industry that seems to be infected by a disease within which they make themselves dependable on contractors paid vastly more then its own staff. All the time dissolving their own workbases technical knowledge. All IMO of course

Where has anyone said it does ?

Nah Disagree bear, ok he didnt have a lot around him but he had enough, he could have atleast made life more difficult on the CBs and gave us someone to hold it up better upfront. Too often we looked to get the ball forward to relieve pressure only for it to come straight back, he was poor yesterday
