How you cant say morgan is utterly mental TBH, he has been head and shoulders for two/three years easily
-
Its morgan, its always been morgan. Then possibly Toby, then Vic
-
The two decent Muni's down here have already been bought. I like my golf, but you are right its getting more and more expensive
-
Ive tried food from iceland, its crap and expensive Ill leave you to contemplate whether its the country or the shop that Im on about.
-
Are you saying he needs Dominic littlewoods number ?
-
Isnt this how saints forever ended ?
-
They are a joke, whats the point of fining a club that overstretches ? Isnt this FFP supposed to stop clubs going outbof business ? There should be transfer bans or kicking clubs out of competitions
-
Well yeah, its not a perfect situation and Im sure that if Athletico could get someone to buy Toby outright they would have done. But Im saying its a different economic situation then it was a few years ago with City, chelsea etc signing 100s of players. Which is why these sorts of deals are more common. But you are right, its not 'ideal' for the selling club. But then its either that or potentially not have the spare FFP funds to strengthen
-
I imagine so, the money they spent I would imagine they couldnt 'afford' a fee for Falcao (surely 30m ish) plus the overinflated wages as part of FFP and so this is a convenient way round. Obviously this now means monaco are likely to get him back if he doesnt start hitting form soon. It would also explain the random loan of the Bolton CB
-
Its a waybto circumnavigate FFP. And it works both ways. A selling club is able to negate the wages and get a possible sale. Of course there will be some form of question marks though yes, as otherwise they wouldnt want to release them
-
Exactly It seems he just decides to throw money at things and hire some chums In a way him and Harry were perfect for each other. Look at the whole naivety of this debarcle, dont get me wrong, its slimey for Harry to do what he did but TF has been vocal about his disaproval. He should of either dumped Harry earlier or shut up IMO Who is going to go there now ? Sherwood maybe ? The name in my head is Ericsson and a fat paycheque
-
Its not just redknapp, as bad as he is, its QPR, its tony fernandes, Im glad they are struggling, they are everything EVERYTHING I hate about football, the whole package
-
Theres been a lot of loans with options to buy this year, as, like you say. It enables you to get a player in but delay the payment
-
Pretty watertight, to the point that AM will have to pay a fee in order to walk away from the agreement. The player, I believe, is under no obligation to accept the terms of an agreement. As for the transfer fee its contractually agreed, that if we are happy with the loan then we are able to buy the player at an agreed price. Basically
-
Funnily enough I have more love for Harry then I do QPR strangely, which says everything about how much I f8cking hate QPR and TF. Atleast thats one relegation spot sorted

A problem with a lot of the old guard

Thats not how it works....

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 0-1 Swansea

Him and prowsey are both excellent players in the link between attack and defence which makes Derrys statement quite bizarre -
They arent hitting goals as the system is dire, uncreative and slow To score you need create, villa do neither
-
Yup more or less agree with it all. FWIW both the decent low crosses were Clyne and Bertrand. Totally agree with what you said about the other crosses, the problem was it wasnt turning them around, like I hoped we would with the inclusion of Mane and Elia. The couple of times we did we looked dangerous, otherwise it was all too easy for an organised defence that included CBs able in the air. I stand by the fact there was enough quality in a few crosses, just not enough of them. Out of nearly 15 crosses only around 3 were away from the keeper or anywhere of any value. As I said unfortunately nobody was there to convert, Pellè takes up positions that are too deep, perhaps its an indication of his lack of form, something he may avoid with more composure in his strikes at goal. He does get little support at times though, personally I like JWP but he doesnt get near Pellè 'enough', though I think Pellè needs to use his strength to hold the ball up rather then always trying the flick. He is good enough. Yes we do need adequate back up to Pellè though
-
Villa dont need another striker, they have two with enough quality, three if Weimann finds form again. Thet need new management and new ideas
-
Speaking of Sinclair ? Wasnt he on loan at Hibs ?
