  1. It is a shame for him, top player and a victim that arguably Wanyama fits the system a little more. It would be a shame to see him go but TBH I did say he and Lambert were two players we should be sort of looking to replace last year, you dont improve unless you replace with better. I think Davis gets the nod as IMO he is more versatile, he can do a job attacking or defensively but I should imagine Cork only can play defensive.
  2. Which is exactly why this system wouldnt work unless you do what I said before about building a team from the bottom age group up and in so essence they should be picking players used to each other. These systems require massive amounts of time to coach and so wouldnt work between usual national windows IMO On a seperate note what a breath of fresh air Poch is with his techniques and strategy after footballing dinosaurs of Redknapp, Burley etc Clearly he is a man with clear direction and IMO unless we can genuinely spend to achieve his ambitions he wont be here long.
  3. Ive not really read too much up on the xbox this time round really. The PS3 really won me over, I got rid of my 360 as was fed up of having to pay for everything that generally came with the price of the PS3. Id of said games prices are a reletive market, they will no doubt eventually meet a lot closer IMO
  4. I get the impression that microsoft have gone all out to take on the home entertainment family package aswell as a leading games console, perhaps they feel the konnect can take on any future nintendo market share aswell ? Either way Ive never much liked Microsofts business model (make the consumer pay for as much as possible) or have much interest in the Konnect For me Sony are attempting to deliver the more powerful gaming machine again which in reality is what I am really interested in as there are already plenty of cheaper home ents packages on the market.
  5. Of course he has, welcome back to the forum BTW We all know what he is like, quality keeper with a bit of fruitloop. You cant blame Stoke on him but by all accounts this was terrible. He has dribbled out before and pulled it off, hopefully he wont anymore
  6. How was Stoke Borucs fault ?
  7. No lovren ? Hoovield playing ? ****
  8. Milner is mr reliable and covers a few positions. He'll never set the world alight but he isnt terrible, he will go to the WC
  9. Most of the players give the ball away, unfortunately this is indicative of the counter attacking brand of the prem more than anything and the lack of 'developing' a team for me. The germans, spanish etc have played together over generations (U19s, U21's) this creates an environment where the players gel and get used to each other. England squads are generally chucked together, and then there playing styles for clubs are often vastly different. Club football allows teams to 'train' tactics over many months getting players used to movement off the ball etc. if anything England looked as though they were trying to press more than usual last night, but we dont have the players to move the ball on quickly when we gain possession. All in all the transitional play between phases was crap last night. Especially final third. Soo, long story short on Wilshere, I think he is very good but tries too much in an England shirt. Id stick with him, I posted my proposal further up, the issue is getting them to play together.
  10. One trick pony ? He is a bit headless but is about the only one that looks like doing anything tonight really, that and Lallanas quick feet anyway. He is direct, not afraid to run and shoot, his passing was woefull tonight Id agree. Personally Id play him out wide as that way you can sort of accomodate a wildcard like him instead of using up a midfield berth.
  11. He was excellent last year, poor this. Johnson hasnt had a much better season either. I do feel for Clyne who has built on last years form IMO
  12. Welbecks a good player and I dont get how Sturridge is suddenly **** after a single (injured ?) england performance
  13. Yeah pretty much this, perhaps Rooney up top with Welbeck, Lallana and townsend interchanging behind him. Or perhaps Lambert though Id worry its not a long term option. Not really sure what happened to Sturridge, he certainly isnt **** like the kneejerkers think, I agree he is far too selfish though, perhaps too many people wanted to be heroes tonight ? Cole worked ok with Lallana though I think he would have given adequate protection for Baines, Clyne must be wondering what the hell he has to do ? My 1st team for brazil ? ------------hart---------- Clyne--jagielka--cahill--baines -----------Gerrard---------- ----Wilshere----Barkley---- Townsend---Rooney---lallana Obviously this may change later on
  14. Lost the midfield for me when Gerrard came off, we looked okish tonight against a team much better than us. Cleverley had about the best game Ive seen of him in a while but Id still not realistically pick him regularly. Sturridge looked poor tonight, shame as he is usually a decent player. Rooney played ok, Lallana and Townsend were good. Wilshere poor. We need Gerrard playing and a striker that can play up top on his own. Well, ultimately we arent anywhere near as good as we think
  15. Im stuck, on the one hand theres the keeper, confortable in a box and good ball skills and on the other you have Tims effort who is comfortable handling a pole.
  16. You mean tits that dont match ? Yeah I hate that, sometimes the tits hate it too, they want to be the same I think
  17. IDIOT you clearly missed a hyphon after the 22nd a there
  18. Check inside the plug, sometimes with the bigger appliances the plugs fail dependant on how long you have had it. Whats it doing tripping the RCD or the little breaker ?
  19. I love tits, read it to that what you will. Whats your fav part of the tit ? The nipple ? The underhang ? The sideboob ?
  20. Why get drawn in bud ? He is a tit, we all know it. TBF you have got a bit more original lately, fair play to that
  21. Wasnt there a thread on this in the summer ? Personally no, I wouldnt like it, Red Bull like to invade every aspect of the clubs they invest in. I would be very surprised if Cortese would allow them to take the credit with what is essentially his baby, if we ever went down that route it, for me, would be indicitive that our funds have run out.
  22. Its good but in reality it isnt 30 quid difference to last years, its more or less just a data update and a few tweaks. Thst said I get the addiction rating. Plus it seems easier this year
  23. He isnt the same player at all, and so is there to be recognised
  24. You need a new iron
