  1. Think I sent a PM but cant remember
  2. I heard he only resubbed cos I did He loves a bit of me does Turks
  3. Of course itll be superseeded but I really cant see the arguement that cutting up dead bodies is senseless considering they are only going to be buried (and so rot) or burned ? Its not a barbaric act, they are carefully removed by surgeons to the benefit of a human who is still very much alive and so these procedures would improve their life. Do you not agree with surgical procedures in general then ? Or anything invasive ? Or is it just the act of removing body parts ? FWIW I can sort of understand that part, and yes I do hope that their are more respectful ways to aid other people in the future but right now there is not. So if I can help someone elses Husband or Wife I will do. After all, my family will not 'miss' my organs, and nor will I
  4. Picking top four players is often a lot more intricate then just placating the top four managers and appeasing the general masses. The consensus is generally that in international football you do not have time to make players gel, so you pick players used to playing with each other. Added to this you have the fact they are pitted against better players in elite competition, and so yes I can understand that concept. From a Saints perspective, Cork seems ready made for what Hodgson wants to achieve especially if played next to Carrick to allow Gerrard to play a more expansive role. Then you have Clynne who coukd add competition to Walker and Johnson. J Rod if he carries on his form till the end of the season is probably worth a look and Lambert, has the ability IMO but his age is a hinderance. I think the OP has gone a tad OTT though, our players have not played that many games, we are safe really, and are not really first team (england) quality so MP isnt going to moan really. You can understand the likes of AVB etc wanting to keep their players fresh for the run in, no idea how but something needs to happen to make the international team the pinnicle again.
  5. Assuming the aim is European ambition, I assume that the following would be on the agenda RB/LB cover - Clynne and Shaw need to have playing time and are going to be top top players Dominant Cb - Yoshida has come on leaps and boynds but we need a big lump (of the right calibre) beside him, it makes the Forren signing confusing though CM - Look to sign a decent CM with the right attributes to, at the v least compete but possibly replace Cork. RW or LW - With top pace, we IMO lack pace going forward and a decent winger will work wonders CF - A younger Lambert really, hopefully an improvement. Michu would have been ideal. Before someone jumps down my neck its not that Im not happy with Lambert, Cork etc They are integral to the team, but you get nowhere by standing still. If the players are out there to improve then we should do it
  6. It may be, and hopefully it really is a possibility for the future. I fail to understand however, especially from a non believer, what the issues are with donating organs. Especially after you have gone. I willingly went on the donor list, as well asgiving blood and also down for platelets and marrow etc. Now, the latter two are painful so can understand why people dont do this in life however after death surely nothing matters more then improving someones life ? The only instance I can understand is the eyes as its possibly not nice for family to see the deceased with different eyes.
  7. Aslong as its not that young'un they brought on towards the end !! Any ideas how good this lot are ?
  8. Funilly enough I was going to mention Isco yesterday when talking about Spain, the talent available to them is phenominal. I usually agree with you Taj but I cant today sorry bud, I suppose football is all about opinions. You need to look at what players bring to the party some times, its not all about stats. What does an out of goalscoring form owen bring you ? Nadda Personally I Welbeck will turn out to be a decent player, his technique IMO is better than you suggest, he is two footed and takes on the defender, he works v hard (much like J Rods major attribute) but yes I can agree his decision making is lacking. But there are plenty of youngsters like that, Lallana was v much like that at one point (though improving now) Id personally love England to have more options though, but we dont, when you look past Carroll, Sturridge and Welbeck (all hardly world beaters) we have little, Bent ? Defoe ? Crouch ? England is a sad state of affairs Im afraid, the sooner our coaching gets better and hopefully some form of national player qouta installed the better
  9. Was Watford the team we played against when I played ?
  10. Well, he did play for a team like Sunderland, on loan last year and looked very good, in fact a lot of the times I have seen him play I have been suitably impresses with him. He is having a poor end to the season but started very well. No he doesnt really play that great for England but who does ? I find myself not bothering now as our performances are such an abject failure and not to mention boring whats the point ? As per Lostboys, yeah I think you must be a numpty, to say that Utd carry Cleverley or Welbeck is a tad silly really, his England performances have not been great but certainly not the 'worst ever' and what other optionsdo we have upfront ? Nobody that is recognised ?! Lambert IMO could do a job but he is getting old and England should be about bringing through young players and getting them used to the main stage or we will always be just a team in transition. J Rod, maybe, if he carries on I dont see why not, but saying he is better then Welbeck after a handful of games is a bit daft too.
  11. J rod certainly didnt start the season very strong but who can blame him ? He was out of position at a new club and new league. He has certainly shown enough for me to warrant a chance in the england set up and to look good for the future. Welbeck is a strong, two footed hard working young lad with good pace and technique, I am excited about him. Likewise Cleverley, if he stays free from injury he could be a decent player. We are not the all signing all dancing nation so many of you are led too believe, and looking at our options then Welbeck and even sturridge look good for the future. Hell IMO if we are looking at J Rod a kid barely out of the championship and having a small purple patch at the moment as a potential succesor it shows the lack of depth. It makes you sick when you look at the array of talent available to someone like Spain in all areas, Lorente, Villa, Torres, Mata, Silva all posible bench warmers who would all walk into the three lions. Writing off Welbeck is misguided, football is never Black and White, spend some time in the game and you'll look a little deeper. Welbeck will be a player no doubt.
  12. Really ?!? Lol Try not following the ignorant masses
  13. Whats the issue ? They are arguing about a transfer policy that we all agreed was random, Big Sam has spent a lot on meagre attacking talent, Carroll isnt worth the cash and forces them to play a certain way, maiga has dissapeared, ditto chamakh The problem is they still think they are bug time, and also that we are in debt (random) when in reality they are in more financial termoil than us. If they get the olympic stadium then fair play, itll be terrific for them but in reality regardless of history we are currently pretty similar sized clubs Forums also attract weirdo's they have some, we have MLG and his mock ups of a future that may or may not happen. Plus, they dont watch J Rod, the same as I dont Jarvis, personally I dont think Jarvis is worth what they paid, but I do t watch him regularly enough so cant really comment. Ditto them vs J Rod who is starting to look everything he should for a young 7 mil player
  14. Nothing makes me happier then seeing the demise of QPR. Im not Arrys biggest fan but not quite to the level of some but cant help but think he knows he made a huge mistake from when he signed the contract, it parallels with when he took us on, both clubs were doomed. So happy our chairman wasnt such a gambler though and basically Fernandes has said, fudge the club spend as much as you want For those reasons, and for signing average players on stupid wages I hope they crash and burn
  15. Dont you have a pop at Gaston every week ? No matter if he looks good or not ? His vision and touch is outstanding Will be a top top player
  16. We struggle when teams press against us, Reading just didnt have the legs or players for it. Also playing a pressing game is only really effective if you can keep the ball. They have not made enough decent signings this year. On another note, Rodriguez has been incredible today
  17. Well, this is from the idiot who was so vocal in his distaste of the polish players playing in a german shirt..... So what part of Ireland is lancashire in then Lawro ?
  18. 4 points is massive this time of year
  19. Id be interested Steve, let me know. Might be better of contacting me on le Twitter though bud Up front or midfield and I am a lot fitter then the game we played against Watford, I personally thought I was poor that day. Nickname - Swaggers, Smirky etc etc Prefered shirt number - 7 Prefered position - No 10 or centre midfield Playing Ability - Sunday league top div regular Fitness - Go to gym 5 nights a week, try to stay off the beer these days Reliability - If I say Ill be there Ill be there
  20. J Rod in starting to look like a player shocker You lot never cease to amaze
  21. I think from the amount of complaints they have had they are fully aware of the 'issues
  22. What does that even mean ? And im not talking about the tapatalk ********
  23. Perhaps because we concentrated more on singing anti-redknapp songs then getting behind the team ? Pathetic really
