  1. Children copy, so I imagine is the same thing you have said ad infinitum for the last three years, he really isnt rubbish though is he ? He has put in two decent shifts in the past two games, look v good against both Stoke and the arse. Funny that Lallana gets let off so easily after a mistake, where as Guly gets hung to dry. You only have to look at the pompey game, that Guly failed to jump ? Barely anyone commented that it was Lallanas man who headed that.
  2. Its difficult, but yes I agree Turksy, Lallana doesnt track back enough, nor did Ramirez in the wide left position. Fair play for Adkins to notice this, I said about Guly out wide would work as he balances the flank better, its working. When Lallana is back though, he will start, he gives us a real threat going forward, if I was to choose between one flair player though, Id pick Ramirez through the middle
  3. Gaston pushed Koscielny as he prepared to head it clear
  4. Well, started poorly but looked very assured in the second half, even though he didnt have too much to do
  5. Would have rather kept Gaston on though, I know that it didnt all work today but he is learning, sometimes he seems worse as people dont move to his passes, not always his fault. He looked like he could do it though, and looked dangerous.
  6. You really are a complete idiot, I swear you just come on to write inflammatory boll@cks. Sometimes I can put your reactions to bed as you must just listen to dopey Dave but I assume you have watched today, and still come out with such crap.
  7. No no no this cant be right, he is terrible, will never make it etc etc
  8. Not the best of starts We are ****ed
  9. Cork right back ? Weakens the midfield Out of the 5 midfielders we are playing 4 AMF Strange very strange
  10. Indeed, its the side I have wanted to see since ads' injury, gives Ramirez freedom to express, Guly balances that left flank better too
  11. You leave MiltonRoader alone
  12. I suppose you cant argue with such luminaries as Mers and Macinally, the only one from the three wise monkeys missing is Lawro They have a vague point though, if its down to wages QPR will chuck the kitchen sink at players, watch them get relegated and broke as Fernandes chucks his toys out of the pram. Harry has made a big mistake going there, bet he wished he never picked up the phone
  13. I think itll happen for any games you want to play online, so all multiplayers will be linked to this
  14. And Davis cost us Four cs Fulham and Stoke, as well as however many at the start of the year, so whats your point ?
  15. What about Landon Donavon on a short deal ? Looked the business for Everton
  16. What did Stelling say ?
  17. You must be looking forward to watching him for real then ?
  18. Which is what I said earlier And yes, Saints and the foundation have and have had some talented coaches The game and coaching philosophies have moved on so much, and aslong as kids enjoy it then they should be encouraged to progress if able. I admire parents ambition to keep the 'pressure' off but I have often seen more 'pressure' at non professional outfits. The vasics are that if the kids enjoy playing then if taught right through that enjoyment they will improve. Professional outfits know this, but tailor the drills to inspire and improve, as Monk says too often coaches think they are doing the right thing by doing loads of team drills involving passing, it probably isnt benefiting
  19. He is a ***t but a talented one
  20. Fair play to the parents, I just hope he continues his progression.
  21. Do you remember the video a little while back with the strange man shouting 'leave britney alone' Thats how I imagine Roger when he reads any criticism of Rickie
  22. Depends how you look on it, if you read up on continental coaching techniques then 4-8 is the age within which you should coach balance, start getting them comfortable running with the ball and both feet, also technique wise I think touch etc is learnt by 12 latest really, and so I think to get the best out of them then the younger the better. The key really is better, trained coaches working with kids, instead of the usual dross that gets thrown at them, put the goals away, make it fun, but train that technique.
  23. More impressed by him getting Spurs as far as they did TBH and pompeys situation aside, he did well there. People can try to overlook his achievements however they want, still a top manager.
  24. I get the impression he thought that it may be an easier job as it was, despite their squad they are useless, in fighting, players clearly not up for a scrap etc etc If he manages it then fair play, itll be an absolute miracle, but, surely they are buried now, surely they wont get the signings they need. If we can though, I wouldnt mind seeing Diakite or Granero in the summer (no idea what wages though)
