More nervous than I was 2 weeks ago but still think we are promoted, more nervous about staying in prem TBH, certainly not a doom and gloom merchant.

How long until the masses realise saints dont play with wide midfielders then ? SDR isnt up to it IMO, has pace but no brain, runs into blind alleys, not the worst option to end a game with but certainly not good enough to start as he causes an imbalance in the way we conventionally line up.

Didnt think we were much cop against pompey TBH, we got crosses in but Sharp takes up positions Lambert usually finds, Lambert didnt look fit, Lallana was all fire and thunder but seems to take the wring option recently and is lacking a quality end product, cork flatters to decieve, Hammond seemed scared to put a tackle in. SDR just isnt an option either for me, we need to turn it around today, my optimism is somewhat drained the past few games, still think we will go up but worried whether we will stay there, such a shame Lee is injured the boy had more dimensions to his game and gave us options.

You need a player who is conducive to the way we play, Guly works with Lambert and links up well, Sharp doesnt, yes he has scored four in three but we have played poor in all three games, his entire game is hanging on the edge of the last man and pick up scraps, thats not us is it ? This isnt sunday league, there is a bigger picture, and if you cant hold the ball upfront it invites the other team onto you, sharp has nothing else to his game, end of.

And we have struggled and not played our natural game in any of them. We need to play well against Reading. But Sharp scored so he gets MOM and SDR runs around alot so he should play yeah ? Thought so.

Nicked two goals, we played poorly, start of season form was indicative of plenty of movement upfront and playing through the forwards, plus he moves into positions Lambert would usually find, so no he isnt

He did better than SDR and adds a lot of balance to the midfield diamond, none of our midfield wanted to be nasty even our suppossed enforcer hammond. When teams press and become physical we dont play our way.

Spot on Unfortunately most will now scream how bad Guly is as he doesnt aimlessly run around, unfortunately the average fan has no clue, and probably believes because morgan does not go forward or always kick an aimless pass forward he is useless. In fact I expect they think Sharp is a quality signing, when in reality he just sits off the last man and IMO does not add anything or even fit into the way we play and seems to occupy the gaps Lambert usually finds. We didnt want it yesterday, I am concerned that when teams mix it up with us we dont know what to do.
