We need to sort loans and sharpish, i must admit, the fact that we have been so quiet for so long regardless of the needed reinforcements is beginning to worry me. (change of manager noted)
-
how many times a day do you take a p*ss or a sh*t?
Smirking_Saint replied to Turkish's topic in The Muppet Show
2-3 sh*ts a day on average. 5 or more p*sses, i drink a lot of green tea and water. -
Doesn't mean much really. I currently don't have an ACL and can run on it with zero side effects whatsoever, phase in a little twisting and turning and i will probably end up in a heap somewhere. Also, i have surgery in 2 weeks, a month - 6 weeks after surgery i can cycle, swim etc and probably start running between 2-3 months after, i will still however be banned from sports for 6 months which shows you the difference between knee injuries and other injuries.

Hammond's words on Saints Player - Interesting?
Smirking_Saint replied to saintscottofthenortham's topic in The Saints
Lets not forget the death of the club owner, which was a pretty big part. I don't like Pardew and am within the big incident camp. However in the interest of fairness i need to point out it may not be about Pardew at all. -
....
-
You ok Alan Pardew ? I mean seriously you registered to post that ?
-
I'd much prefer to tell Hammond to sit and let Shniederlin off the leash like he played for France in the toulon tournament. I would also prefer to replace Hammond.
-
He added energy to the side, and definately added something as otherwise we just had Wotton, Gillet or the guy whos name escapes me (brother plays for MK Dons). But all in all he isn't a great player, technically he isn't great, his passing is at times terrible and his touch is pretty aweful. We need another midfielder, that has something about him and we need him soon. I am so so dissapointed we didn't sign anyone here in the summer.
-
Do f*ck off.
-
He is holding onto the ball far far too long, which for me is confidence based, but also because the few games i have seen the movement around him was terrible. He actually didn't look too bad against Swindon (cup) and when all the ball we seemed more threatening, but Wilkins decided to take him off instead of Guly, which was strange.
-
TBF they are unbeaten and have been performing quite well, on the flip side our confidence is shot and we have absolutely no different options to try other than what we have already. Not a bad point in the scheme of things, but i was hoping for better.

Vokes is at Brizzle me nizzle. I think he is valued very highly for what he is, and has not been proven at a higher level. But the more i think, i am worried Connelly is not going to last the season, and he hasn't really been too effective in the starts he has had.
-
Never really rated him as anything more than a half decent league 1 midfielder, Pardew even said in one of his post match interviews last year that he may find him replaced if he didn't improve his technique. And for me that is what he is, i can't argue his work rate that is tremendous but you need to have more to your game for me.
-
You missed my point really. Which was he is a similar type of player to Barnard, and we need to have other options ATM. Ideally a target man to play as back up to Lambert. Don't get me wrong, if i was clamouring for him over the summer and i would in the words of KK, LOVE IT if we signed him. But we need a midfielder, wide men and a big lump to take some pressure off of Rickie.
-
Not the sort of player we need really, we need a big man so that we can rest Lambert. However if we are signing two strikers i would take him. We NEED, another CM. A wide man with something a bit different to apply changes during games. A replacement for Lambert to take the pressure off. Any more than that is a bonus.

I dunno, Adkins has dropped Wotton and put Pulis on the bench, for me this highlights the lack of depth in the midfield area. Lets face it, Pulis must be more mobile than Wotton who when brought on we might as well be playing with 9 men.
-
OMG i just noticed that to, never did when i posted it from Twitter lol

Team V Colch: Davis. Butterfield, Fonte, Seaborne, Harding. Chamberlain, Schneiderlin, Hammond ©, Puncheon. Barnard, Lambert On the bench today are Bart, Jaidi, Dickson, Holmes, Pulis, Doble and Guly Is Martin still injured ?

I do really want one, its not really the price as much for me its the technology. I mean nothing is really engaging the 3d market atm. Sky is releasing 3d content on the 1st of oct but the sky hd range is hardly earth shattering yet. Plus the big point is if you have the lads round to watch the game the lack of glasses means you will have to turn the tv to hd so everyone can watch it.
-
What do you wanna do ?
-
1 pair of glasses ? Not really. I would be inclined to wait for another 6 months or so, it should all kick off then, prices will come down and hopefully the technology should enable the TV sets to actually render a 3d image without the need for the dopey and restrictive glasses.

Ahh the monks, what a wonderful place. tried to knick the hanging monk once, got kicked out. I never met anyone in there though.

Could be, it worked in the Luggy era

All over the place. The main company employ something like 18,000 employees, maybe more now. Depots in New Forest, Portsmouth, Melksham, Oxford, Salisbury, Basingstoke, Reading etc etc Then you have the major projects offices, Street lighting in Hedge End, Call Center and control room in Portsmouth. Everywhere really.
