  1. Is there actually anyone you actually approve of in the team atm ??
  2. No way !! RIP
  3. Yup fair point, shut down the forum no point in discussion any more.
  4. Dickson and Lallana better at crossing. Fonte better at passing Richardson - i appreciate you havn't got to see him but on first looks it seems as if the Leeds researcher has taken the p*ss. Davis - A bit better all round Seaborne - Better on the ground then in the air.
  5. Why would it be Pardew ? That said, league one and bottom half of NPC is probably his level. Its a strange one for me, they were doing well and i believe that they have a limited budget atm after the 2nd takeover last year ?? Maybe wrong. It all smells like behind the scenes unrest again. My bet is Ince.
  6. Indeed. Once again the attributes don't match true ability. Hopefully there will be an editor again so i can tweak them to represent true to life attributes.
  7. He has hit a purple patch, players do, last season Lambert scored bucket loads and this season he is not. Hell, even a techniqueless JBT had a decent season for us. Basically, some times average players do well. BWP has found his level, he was pretty poor for us, i never rated him. We need players to move on with. We are 4 points from 2nd place so hardly in dire conditions are we ?? Add to that he was a cretin, ran into blind alleys a lot and had a big offside ars£
  8. I have answered this so many times before. To football clubs players are not people that are paid in the normal sense of the word. They are an asset that is purchased and paid for in order to achieve the best gains for the football club. Much like a printing company will pay good money to a machine that does the jobs 10 times more than an original machine. Clubs earn dependant on their position, silverwear and sponsorship. The media drives this more than anything. The ways to increase the fortunes of the club are to purchase the best players and the only way to do that is to pay them accordingly. The real issue is not players wages, they are relevant now as they were in our dads days of watching football. The pundits saying things like 'Stanley Matthews would turn in his grave if he knew the wages' is also a ton of bull. There wages were relevant to the income clubs recieved, it is just a case now that there is more income and hence larger budgets for football clubs to bargain with. The real issue is the method of income, they are not sustainable. The prize money needs to be cut down and distributed more fairly around the leagues and clubs so that clubs do not stretch for the holy grail of prize money and risk self destruction. If the money was more evenly distributed and prizes slashed more emphasis will be put back on getting fans back into stadiums, its no surprise many fans feel out of touch with thier clubs these days. Whats more the FA needs to get its house in order and actually reign the PL and FL back in to create one unified body, not 3 different factions all with different rules that bicker and squabble. But... that will never happen... instead due to the greed of people at the top i envisage the PL splitting again, probably under scudamores tenure, to mean that the top 3-4 sides are taken into a super league (like was mooted many moons ago) with increased revenue and lower league football is left to rot.
  9. Banned i think, but TBF i don't actually know him outside the forum. Shame though, he could be a bit of a wind up but he didn't deserve banning.
  10. It could have been, but then they were all banging on how he was in perfect fitness at the start of the season. We don't know what went on behind the scenes, could it have been a falling out between Pardew and Lambert ?? Or other reasons ?? Either way something is wrong with our Rickie, he hasn't been performing like we know he can. OR Is it because of all the hero worship has changed my view slightly of him ?? I remember saying last year he looks lethargic and didn't cut it in a few games, maybe he is the Lambert we know but because we have been building him up so so much he hasn't lived up to it ? The truth is somewhere in between for me, all i do know is its a balancing act between waiting in order to help him with his confidence and not harming our fortunes on the pitch. Edit - But yes, i think we need replacements. If not to bolster our front line because i think Connelly has had it as a force now, perhaps offer him and Wotton backroom roles and employ a new quality young striker and a quality all round midfielder.
  11. Gaylord
  12. Rickies Bus
  13. Its more annoying beating them away every 5 minutes
  14. He was suffering whilst Pardew was still here TBF.
  15. You can't carry an out of form player forever, especially if you want to be promoted. I'd drop him for a few games and let him get his head in order. Makes you look at those rumours again though, what with his crazy lull of form.
  16. Meh if it spurts it works. If your actually trying though it can take f*cking ages. The people i know who have been trying try for ages yet if you go an sh*g some bint of a night out you can put your house on the fact they will be preggers. Strange
  17. True but Lallana got about 20
  18. One test doesn't prove anything Bridgey. Tell her to do another in a week or so if she still feels the same. Or Your penis may be infected ??
  19. They are strong at home
  20. Or Adam Le Fondre or Billy Sharp.
  21. Nile Ranger is a good loan as well, he scored loads for me.
  22. How the f*ck can they get away with a bloke that owns the club, runs up huge debts, forces them into administration and then buying it up again dirt cheap ?? How is that morally right on any level ?? Could i run up massive debts buying a huge property portfolio declare myself bankrupt and pick it all up again debt free at 80% of what i paid for it with no come back ?? Football is clearly a fat and diseased pig atm. If its not this it is Manure and Liverpools problems, the scandels and everything. Its just sick.
