I do not want to see them cast into oblivion, however a crushing blow that will mean never seeing them compete at this or even CCC level again will be welcomed. The crap i got in the summer was unbearable, and the majority of pompey fans i mean are cretinous, venomous morons of which the vast majority do not even go to games, merely just wish to have a pop. Too long has the south coasts dark side been sitting pretty, the internal web of lies, deciept, money laundering, greed etc has been too long glazed over in the press. Time for them to sink back into the cess pit that they crawled from.

It is never ever going to be cheap though !!!!! Even if you paid a pound and a packet of crisps for the club, you will still have a debt that is unsurmountable, no land around the ground, in need of a new stadium and training ground !!!!!!! I am not sure what the overall outlay was for us to just buy and wipe the debts but it will be no where near the amount needed to save PFC, and then on top you need to fund new players etc. The thing that irks me is the PL's lack of movement, the club is financially screwed, the owners are ambiguous to say the least, Al Faraj is murcurial, has he ever BEEN to the UK ?? And to top it off they have been handed a winding up order, that was argued lol, and then HMRC turned around and said 'actually you have' Thank god we never went through this slow death, incredible bad management and a complete web of lies.

Thats the real thing being all of this, although we sit here and gloat about the pitiful state that Pompey is, it is the staff you have to feel for. The players won't really miss a weeks wages or so, not on 80,000 a week as reported anyways. Even the new owners would probably walk away without being dented too much. It is the everyday staff members that always get sh*t on when big companies such as this begin to feel the pinch.

The majority of players and coaching staff however ARE being paid !!! Kaboul, Prince and James have played their last games for us (as if we didn't already know that !!) If they don't get enough stewards turning up on Saturday we'll be forced to concede the game in what could only be described as the most embarassing of situations !! I have never ever seen a difference between PSN and Xbox live, so if this is the arguement to having to pay for the online service it is a sh*t one. Also the Xbox is cheaper arguement is pretty much dead in the water, as to match the PS3 spec you need the Xbox elite and so there is about 40 quid in it, plus the fact that the Ps3 has Blu-Ray. That being said has anyone actually released any true native 1080p games ?? I personally think Ps3 is the way to go, you pay one amount and that is all you need, plus i can name many of my mates that have made the switch over to Ps3. That being said, i think it is really a question of which console the majority of your mates have, as mine have Ps3's, for online play i bought a sony, if they all had the xbox it would probably have been different.

I have actually had a kick around with Jo Tessem for 15 minutes. Ages ago back in my Barton Peveril days, me and my mate Tom used to have a kick around down the back of Flemming park. (the carpet tennis courts/footie pitches) Tessem happened to walk in whilst we were kicking around and asked if he could join in. We chatted for a while and he toddled off, he is actually a top bloke.
