Would be a great signing IMO, perhaps this is the player that pardew was alluding to when he said 'weren't having a good time elsewhere' however i believe he was probably talking about otsemabor. If we could steal him on a free he is probably just the player we need imo.

I hate to say it but, perhaps you have fallen into this category ?? The rules are actually to do with player registrations, any player is able to go on loan regardless of the amount of teams he has played for. Therefore, lambert would be able to go to newcastle on loan with a view to a permanent deal. I am sure if things really went down this route then newcastle would be able to play around the rules, as this seems to happen far to often in football.

I don't see why anyone ever buys the echo, especially from us posting on here. TBH we get match reports (that i feel are more reliable as more people post) all the rumours that you get in the echo. The echo is a sh*tty little paper that i only ever read round the parents if there are no other papers to hand. Sorry, i know Danny posts on this site and it is not a dig at him, just at the editors to be honest, and if they printed that about Lambert i would imagine it was out of nothing more than spite. There was fallout about not playing taraabt apparantly, now, if i was the manager i certainly wouldn't want people dabbling with my team, especially not chairman (we know what happens then !!) Unfortunate for hart, he seems a decent bloke, he was given a rough ride by poopey and shamefully replaced by the man that 'is not here to replace him'

Or perhaps Ward was not enthusiastic about atleast 6 months in league one and seaborne was very driven and keen to prove a point ?? That would have sold it for me, what also backs it up is the rumours that he only wanted an 18 month contract. Decent player or not i don't want anyone here not willing to give 100% for the team, and i seriously believe that seaborne will.

I would be up for being a winston bogard type player, sign up on a 5 year contract and then just stay at home playing call of duty. I also wouldn't mind taking a penner or two.
