JPT will always be a good day out, and i am happy with AP putting his best team out. But FA Cup ?? Come on, especially at the detriment of our league campaign.

Exactly, And that is my point. So are our last 5 matches really a show of our good form ?? Because it is just not what i am expecting from a team of our supposed qualities. I just don't get what other people are seeing that i am not.

Tbf, i am usually pretty calm and sensible, and definately not a knee jerker. But to lose 6 games and draw 9 is not acceptable form imo, in fact it is pretty dire. And those who say in the last 6 matches we have had good form, exactly how many have we won ?

True though, i honestly think i could do his job, on one leg and 2 stone heavier than i should be. No finesse, no technical ability, he can't even move without creaking !!!!!!! We have players here that can play good football, AP has specifically bought a CB that can come out of defence and play the ball to the midfield ?? Why then do we give it to a guy who's only dimension is a big punt up the pitch?

I suppose put like that i have to agree really, plus putting him and wooden together in CM is asking for trouble. If you watch the way spiderman plays his football he may not get the assists but makes stuff happen when on the ball, that is all i am saying. When James is back and hopefully with a decent DM he can play in the position he played against MK Dons, then i hope you will begin to see what i see in him.

Sorry benji, i can see your optimism but i just can't agree. IMO, Hammond has been a let down, for all his running he just isn't good enough and probably won't feature much when we do get to the CCC if a similar war chest is opened. Secondly, i can't see how are distance from the playoffs compares to a good season, we should not be content with hardly ever losing, as we are not winning enough. Would charlton fans, norwich, leeds be happy if the roles were reversed ?? 10 point deduction or not ?? For they are the teams we need to compare against. As i said, i can usually see a bright side and was saying that playoffs should be a real target, not now, if we make it now it is a miracle. People are saying oh well, we will storm the league next year ?? I just can't see it if we cannot win games with a squad like ours.

IMO morgan can be with us all the way to the prem, the times i have seen him play and defo against MK Dons have proved this for me. We will be lucky to hold on to him if we fail our playoff targets, and he will become a very accomplished player. He is however a bit of a luxury at this level i do agree, but his range of passing and awareness can be a potent weapon if we ever stop playing the hoof ball. He needs a DM partner that can win a ball and give it to him, instead of a clumsy amateurish old warhorse that tbf gives everything but cannot play the game... hooooof wotton hooof. Technically we are a good side, Wotton's inclusion negates this.

If the team can stays the same week in week out than we should do. Changing the whole of the back four because of a cup we will never win seems pointless to me.

Yeah i can see about our form but we are hardly imposing ourselves like we were are we ?? Plus throwing points away, ok, Brentford are good at home but we should be able to close games out. I think the 4-5-1 formation can be plenty offensive enough with the right players.

Wotton costs us games, he is not dynamic in the slightest, to play him in a midfield pairing is devastating as teams will run around him and if he ever gets the ball it is kicked as far as his toe will hoof it. Spiderman is a very good player, started to do a lot of chasing and plays good football, we all know he is not great in the tackle though, this is not his fault. We missed James harrassing when he came off. Wotton is the weak link, and i am not convinced with Semi at all, was at fault (along with Wotton) for the millwall goal.

I know what you are saying mate, but we have thrown far too many points away, you can't get away from that fact. What has happened to the form that saw us trashing teams 3-1 ?? The FA Cup run is hurting us, IMO, we should never have played full strength sides. We need a couple of midfielders and soon, get rid of hoof ball wotton too.

This is why i keep saying f*ck the FA Cup off, i expect he has changed due to tiredness, and it has cost us IMO. Shame James got injured, we also really need to get rid of Wotton (unless sitting just in front of back 4 in 4-5-1 through emergency) and sign atleast 1 more midfielder. We need to play spiderman in an attacking role, james and hopefully a new decent DM. Like i said, i am usually optimistic, but we SHOULD be winning these games, Swindon are winning 3-0 against leeds ffs

4-5-1 suits us better imo, we always play off lambert anyways and it allows for more rigidity in the middle of the park. With our injuries to midfield at the moment we will struggle to play anything but 4-4-2 unfortunately, and you really need to have left/right midfielders who can also defend to play it. We shouldn't be not winning games against brentford however, i am usually a borderline happy clappy but this is just terrible
