My grandfather was a cheif petty officer in the royal navy. He never spoke much about his war experiences as they haunted him a little bit, it is a shame though as the time he took to talk about them were so interesting and me and my dad often thought what a read it would be if he ever found the time to write about them. I know he travelled a lot, he had a lot of ornate things from around different parts of the world, he was also sunk twice !! He spoke of how once they were told not to wear a life jacket when sunk in the south china seas as it was better drowning then being eaten by sharks. He also sailed in 3 times on D Day and marched with a troop of comando's to take Normandy. Also sailed in some river in Borneo to save some sort of Lord or what not. Shame, i really miss him at times. I never really asked him much as i do think he saw a lot he wouldn't want to remember. Oh, and he was on the art royal around the time they sunk the Bismark, though i don't know if it was involved or if he was actually there etc.

We can still get loans in, we all knew that it was over, Pardew got all he wanted by the look of things. Happy with what we have, by all reports semi and seaborne looked good at the weekend too. I don't really know why we signed Barnard tbh, apart from the fact we obviously got him cheap. He moves in similar ways to Lambert and so the two of them get in each others ways quite often. I would have said we would be far more potent with both Lambert and Waigo starting.

Cannot for the life of me Antonio starts ahead of him, the only thing i can think of is his english. Don't get me wrong, Antonio seems to be improving but Waigo has pace as well as some skill and a definate goal threat. When waigo is good he is very good, he does go missing at times though, but i still would start him ahead of Antonio

Just read through Poopeys board as Linked in crabs post, i must admit, that is absolutely horrific reading.

If i remember rightly he had a decent turn of pace on him but for some stupid reason he was employed as a RB by the dutch twonks. I always thought he looked a decent prospect but now seeing as he is 21 and tbh it looks as if our spending will continue for a while yet, i would say let him leave for 1st team football if he gets the oppertunity.
