Plus, why would he want to go to reading ?? We are clearly a team on the up, he has made us ATM a force in this division, has an executive team behind him that are willing to back him and from what we are led to believe patience. A bigger fan base, better facilities ?? Perhaps i am just biased ??

Out - Pulis, Lancadire, Forecast, molyneux, Saga, Gillet at the right price. In - Perhaps a RB (depends on Murty and James' potential), Trotman permanently, Papa permanently (at the right price), Antonio (season loan). Perhaps Perry offered more of a coaching role ?? We also need to watch out for the likes of Mills etc becoming want away.

I suppose, i am quite shocked by that, just looked up that they have an average prem attendance of 27k and CCC of 20k. I stand corrected.

I totally see your point ponts, being a man of science myself. I don't believe they are the p*ssed of spirits of the dead par say however i cannot completely disregard the paranormal because our science so far has not discovered a reason for them to be or not to be there. It was not too long a go that electricity had not been discovered, did that mean at that time that it just didn't exist ?? The problem with some scientists is they completely disregard things until theories prove them to be scientifically sound, however new things are being found all the time and so it is not outside the realms of impossibility. And as much as i don't want to offend you by saying you are ignorant but just because things are implausable, does not make them impossible. Yes there is no scientific knowledge to substantiate such matters, however nothing has been discovered to completely disregard the existance of the paranormal. I am within category 2 IMO. Although there is something within that says they are real. You ask me about god ?? I would say no. But the paranormal ?? Yes, for some reason.

Is the Lounge more interesting than the main forum?
Smirking_Saint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Lounge
Yeah fair point, plus it's gammy again -
I didn't imply he was better. I believe that he didn't have as bad a game as everyone made out. Antonio had a good game, but i am not hero worshipping just yet thats all.

Better then sitting in bed lonely complaining of a gammy leg. Plus weddings are expensive -

All lies, don't believe the hype. Markus is actually micheal wilde, he has just put a bit of weight on and had a spray tan. -
I believe in reincarnation. I say believe, i mean prefer it really. I'd like to think when it is over i can be whisked off to a new body and start over. Shame you can't remember what happened before, you could spend a whole lifetime being recklessly happy (not working, getting massive debts, taking risks etc) as you know when times up you get another go !!

David Connolly injury - anyone know anything?
Smirking_Saint replied to sussexsaint's topic in The Saints
I don't think it would be a massive loss in the way we are playing our football at this point in time. However, that said, i think it would be a shame that he could not continue regaining form and match sharpness as i believe when he is back to his best he will be unplayable. -
Lol, you can imagine his thoughts. 'Huff Huff "well thank f*ck for........oh boll*cks"

I don't think we can compare the two appointments TBF. Some managers just do not work at certain clubs, others do. I agree, at the first appointment i was excited, then reading the charlton fans experiances with him at the helm a little worried but now i believe he was the best option and still is. The man has proven he is a good manager, and also his major criticism at charlton was the players he bought in. Now though it has proven a different kettle of fish. Before the start of the season us fans were crying out for a target man, a goal scorer, a midfield general, two decent centre backs and some pace. Pardew has done exactly that and has also made sure we have new dimensions ready from the bench that i believe to be very strong. The man has done no wrong in my eyes.

I don't understand the vilification that he has recieved since sat TBH. He didn't do that badly, we all know he gets caught offside an aweful lot but he also gives us a different dimension going forward. The dons LB was clearly crapping himself whenever Papa got the ball and are we forgetting he also had a goal disallowed and almost set up lallana with a superb run and cross ?? Yes antonio did well when he came on but the game was already changing. The fickleness of some of our fans at times astounds me. One thing is for sure, their LB will be dreading meeting saints again.

The fact that nicola and markus said earlier in the season that nobody should get a free ticket has put them well up their on the respect front for me. It's not like these guys are short of a bob or two. However i completely agree with some of the sentiments. Ok Crouch made some wrong choices but at lease he put his credibility and money on the line for the good of southampton. Something a few of our rich fans have said before they would be more than willing to do and then fail to materialise. As for Lawrie, he has such history with the club and like him or not he fully deserves to still be a part of it.
