  1. I thought i could be wrong, cheers for clearing it up though, i knew there was something about bankruptcy but assumed that it also applied for taking a company into meltdown. Still it's not going to look good on a CV, not exactly something you can hide really either.
  2. We will be seriously in the poo if we go down what with less money etc etc and so changes are innevitable but then we are equally in the poo if we stay up ? I am normally optimistic but if we stay up i still see the core of our players moving on especially with the older guys that have probably lost faith in the club, which pretty much means a re-run of this season. As for admin and potential investors i can't see one coming in for us in this financial climate. Either way i could cry.
  3. I'd buy the video lol:rolleyes:
  4. Agreed, i feel what little funds we have had to probe the transfer market has been royally squandered on players we don't need, or are just plain crap. Saiejs not included obviously. Unfortunately i feel it is a sign of how financially desperate we are if we are speculating players on the reserves bench of the league below could do a job. :smt017
  5. Even if for some crazy reason beckham did decide to 'raise the football profile in southampton' and attempt to buy us out i should imagine lowe would attempt to put that blockers on it unless he paid some crazy price. Besides, we would probably end up with the neville brothers on the board. And i couldn't think of anything worse lol
  6. I can't see the results will change the decision of the deadline. As far as the banks are concerned i suppose they are going to get more money in this league then in league 1 so they will probably hold off until they absolutely have to, also i can't see admin really benefiting them that much, can't see anybody buying the stadium. As for a boardroom decision Lowe's not going to place us into admin unless he absolutely has to because he will then be banned from becoming a director for the rest of this life and so is pretty much career suicide. NB - I apologise if i my knowledge on the matter is slightly wayward but this is how i see things currently.
  7. Maybe, and at this point probably yeah. All i was doing was pointing out who in my opinion the failure has come from. If you hire somebody that is incompetant at the job and then he goes on to ruin your business then yeah ok he has some blame but overall you should never have put him in that position in the first place. Don't get me wrong i am not really anti-lowe/not pro-lowe not really anything lowe, as far as i can see there is nothing we can do. All i was saying was that ok, i think the man is arrogant and perhaps not got the credentials but he is doing far better than anyone else has done this season, christ even Burley left us in the crap and his previous credentials weren't too shabby. Wotte has not done this to our football club it is the people that should be looking after it.
  8. We couldn't afford any decent loan deals, Cork was amazing and i would love him still to be here but it is obvious that we just cannot (or i hope just not bothering) to snap up some decent loan signings that are out there. Both transfer windows for the past two seasons i have been ranting about how 'we should be signing him' etc. Saiejs is a good example of a good 'gamble' but how often deos it happen. I think it sums it up how we have taken on the likes of Smith how out of the transfer/Loan league we really are. In truth though what we have that is now unified seems to be doing very well but i dread to even think about injuries. I agree this is where our dealings in the loan market have really shot us in the foot, when you are a team like Man Utd it is beneficial as they can assist by scoring against rivals but it's completely different when you are down the bottom, madness. I hope the Rasiak thing deos not haunt us come the end of the season.
  9. I am not sure that is all completely true, i agree that perhaps his vision may have been a little misguided however have you never bigged yourself up slightly in an interview or perhaps approached a project with the attitude of 'yeah i can do this' in an attempt to win a contract etc ? Personally i believe that yes there are definately better options out there as far as coaching staff are concerned but then also there is playing staff ?? The problem was a lack of funds and that Lowe obviously believed it could be done. Ultimately he is the chairman who should be looking to steer the club upwards and not giving time to bad ideas. A bad decision unfortunately but he seems to have turned a corner, we have had some fantastic results, stability and a better will from what i have seen and i for one have a bit of belief back, lets not look further than the end of the season yet as we don't know where we will be.
