  1. Analyse this you SR Managerial twats.... Appointed Interim Manger W W W W L... 12/15 pts (80% win ratio) Appointed FT Manager W W L D L D L L...8/24 (25% win ratio over more games. Last 6 win ratio (0%) versus first 6 win ratio (83.33%) Xg means sweet f.a.. Goals and points are the ONLY stats that matter.
  2. Ive never wanted this puppet as the manager, and thoight it was a little strange at the time when they moved Lallana to the U21s, because he was clearly the only person in that group of coaches with any significant playing experience/knowledge. SR / Spors (wrongly at the time and obviously wrongly in hindsight) must of thoight that the "team" of coaches who were doing ok for (what was it, 8 ish games) the U21s could translate their methods, procedures and processes to the first team. Theres a massive difference between a bunch of 18, 19, 20 years olds still learning and still trying to make a career and a bunch of fully-fledged and negatively experienced older professionals who even just at our club have seen more managers, better managers and more experienced managers. It was like putting an apprentice in charge of the business. SR, Spors, Eckert, the whole fucking lot of them need to fuck off now. Id even take relegation over them staying another season. I cant get to games any more but my passion for this club has never dwindled. Eckert looks like a man who has the passion of a dead man who when he was alive was the most boring person on the planet. He doesn't care like we do. Hes not even smart enough to bluff. Regardless of how he left, Lallana would of got more out of this team than Eckert. And hed look like he cared whilst doing it too. Hopefully whilst writing this hes been sacked😂
  3. I think the anger is much the same really but like you say, venting happens online and so its diluted before getting to the ground for example. It was also very different at The Dell because of its size, far more intimidating than St Mary's.
  4. Armstrong is not brilliant but we'd be worse without him. But we do need someone better than him. If Stewart was as guaranteed as you csn be to be fit for the remainder of the season, Id say we dont need another Striker and to focus soley on a CB. But theres as much guarantee of him remains fit as there is me winning the lottery, and probabaly less. So SR, get a move on and sign someone, almost anyone who can give us a bit of a lift. I remember the Branfoot days with utter contempt for him and Askham....this feels worse.
  5. Its an easy complaint to make regarding Ballard but (regardless) letting him go is perhaps what has been best for his development, ie. lots of game time, good results which will build hid confidence. It was clear he was a talent (from the little I saw of him). Is he what we need now, quite possibly, simply from tbe perspective of someone "in form" and confident no doubt. Would he be ready for the PL (if somehow we manage to make and win the play-offs this season, maybe not, so is that best for him to then maybe be back on a bench. If we (as is more likely) stay in the Championship for another season, then he is probably a very decent option. So is it best to get him in now or try in tbe summer when we know more. Id also hope we will appoint a proper manager in tbe summer so perhaps hed not want to come till then as well. Whether its Ballard or not, we certainly need someone to spark up front this window, a fresh talent actually capable of scoring in this league. 18 months ago I was willing to give Dragon (not really SR) a chance. That will has (and the other one😂) has disappeared for me and he needs to make some very good calls very quickly. But I fear his time is basically done here and he will, well should sell as soon as he can. I want to feel proud to support Saints again, not embarrassed by all the bad decisions.
  6. Probabaly a bad choice
  7. Now hes lost one its the best time to appoint the real choice. Great job Tonda, now go make the U21s great so we have a pipeline of players for the next season or two....
  8. Hello Tonda....good work so far.
  9. Maybe not in your little game. In real life its possible. If someone wants to pay someone that amount as its the only way to get the person they want, they might. Stop writing opinion as fact.
  10. Clearly Ive missed those, maybe you can share the links....
  11. So we are now 11 days into the post Still era with very little rumours of note, or noise from from the club. Very often (not always I know) when we sign good players, they come out of the blue and so hopefully this will be the case, preferably before the weekend. I dont expect Tonda to be appointed and the longer it goes on the worse it looks and the more chance it will be Tonda. I do expect it to be someone who is properly known by the majority of fans. I doubt it will be Viera, Gerrard, Carrick, Rodgers. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ole Gunnar Solskjear and I think hes better than his record probably suggests. We need someone who is going to be very clear on how we are going to play but with a flexible attitude! I like that OGS is people centric and loves to develop people, thats very clearly in line with our DNA. Whoever it ends up being we need 5 or 6 wins out of the next 7 or 8 games to kick start the season! 🙏
  12. Theres such things as Teams, Zoom, Goole Meet etc which makes talking "in person" so much easier nowadays😂
  13. Marco?
  14. I really dont understand why GON would be good for us. Like others have said he needs to be good very quickly otherwise he will lose the fans (agent Oniel type stuff will come out). And he does not stand out among many on that list for me. Move on....please SR.
  15. Obviously.
  16. Tonda Ekert is clearly doing a good job with U21s and that is where he should stay. That group is vital to the club's squad and finances over the next 2-3 years. Some need to make the team, some need to generate funds. Moving Ekert to First team duties would be a gamble on two fronts, the first team performance and the development and performance of the U21s. Surely they're not that stupid😂🙏 Im hoping for someone with some sort ofdecent standing in tbe game. I like the idea of Marco Rose, Gerrard, maybe even Carrick. Mowbray until the summer would certainly keep us up but there are still plenty of points to allow us to get into the play-offs. We should look at someone who has a point to prove in their own career too, and who (in theory) will still be good if/when we get back up this time or the next. Now is the time to find someone who is happy to be here for 2 years+ on the basis everything goes well. Its never simple and I think that the stick SR get is a little unfair but to this point they are definitely in debit regarding their management choices. Statistically we should probabaly get the next one right😂
  17. Not really sure he is. I think he is one of the 2 CM, as he can play the defensive role and the box to box role. Azaz is more fernades replacement.
  18. Perfect for us then
  19. Sell THB, Edozie, BBD, Smallbone, Aribo, and Bree. Buy Charlie Cresswell, Jonathan Rowe and Josh Sargent. Job done.
  20. Well they chose the format of the announcement video so its all their own doing😂 I really quite like them though, so hopefully 4 or 5 more😁
  21. Not surprised.
  22. What if we have needed / decided that in order to be able to shift some players at the prices we can actually sell them at, ie. BBD, Edozie, Smallbone, Aribo and possibly one or two others, we needed funds in to make sure we get the 4 or 5 players we really wanted. Im disappointed MF has gone (wasn't actually bothered by TD!) BUT if we end up signing the likes of Azaz, Fellows, Sargent and one or two more, id say that ok!! We can all judge properly in a few days time.
  23. Not sure he quoted a price, rather suggested it wouldn't be cheap.
  24. Well a Man City one but maybe youre right
  25. Yes please.
