So the team that over the last 25 games (with this manager) that won more points than anyone isn't good enough to go up? Get a grip lad. If THB is sold then I would expect that a more than capable replacement is lined up. Quarshie not really being used in pre-season suggests hes nowhere near being a consideration so we probabaly need two CB in reality if THB is sold.

I cant help but disagree about Bragg, I think hes already superior to Smallbone especially when it comes to passing. His energy is greater and I feel his reading of the game and positioning is already good. He is developing quickly, and although we dont know where his development will end I can forsee a very high class footballer with lin a couple of years.

Sell those 3 and we might just about get half the Vipotnik fee so maybe...I think theres mor money than we think, its just whether its spent this season or next.

Well 11 goals and a few assists in a relegated team last year, and from what I can recall, lots of energy. At 22 could be a great addition. But seemingly in demand.

Jordan James please Johan/Dragan🙏

20m EUROS doesnt buy his left leg...

Would be ok, better than BBD obviously and Archer. Mubama is faster, with good physique and height. Larin Mubama and Adams might just be a brilliant trio of outright strikers in this league. In the PL Adams and Larin will be far less effective, Mubama is clearly unknown at this point but you never know, might be excellent. Id rather someone else other than Adams (with one eye on PL next season🤞) but if he and Mubama do turn up I think that would be pretty decent.

If Archer goes (as well as BBD) my faith in TE and JS will increase because he is ok but just not good enough for us. Leo, Larin, Dobbin, Mubama, Azaz, A.N.Other NEW ST, is a fresh looking bunch of forwards and quite exciting (potentially/possibly!!).
-
Perhaps theres another striker in the pipeline too which allows Archer to go (and BBD🙏🤞😂)

What we all dont know is what his projected development trajectory looks like. Not that every player always ends up where it is forecast but you'd hope that all our analysts and sports science people have a decent idea of where he is. I like the sound of him and it could just be a brilliant signing. Was hoping for someone more established but theres gambles with them too. Larin, Mubama, Archer, Leo, Dobbin, Azaz....should be plenty of goals from them.

Selective noise. For the last 25 games we won the league, 1 point more than Cov I belive (67-66). This clearly indicates the potential to win this league. As always players in/players out will have a major say. So far, we are winning in my opinion, although a striker is necessary. Charles going and being replaced is needed but not as key as Bragg is a better player. As it stands we will certainly be top 4. With a decent striker we may well win the league regardless of the relegated teams persona.

Some of those are very successful indeed😂
-
Perhaps the other players supporting them weren't good enough to help them score more...🤔🤔🤔 Perhaps ours are....🤔🤔🤔

I would be astounded if BBD is still here come the closure of the transfer window.

Who do you think will be coming in?
-
99.999% NOT going to happen of course but Liam Delap up top would be a great signing. Someone with his type of athleticism and build, age, would be ideal. Not a Adam Armstrong type. I live in hope...

I hope we move on from Stewart for good. He may well prove valuable elsewhere but he cant be relied upon and it seems cant give us 90 minutes regularly or even for one game. And I do not think he is PL standard really. I hope we go for a tall fast player more than capable for this league but with potential for when ee go up. No idea who but not Stewart.

As much as I like Scienza, Im not convinced hes good enough for the Prem, and certainly not a side going for say top 8. I think hes a bit lightweight for that level. I hope he stays, we go up, and he gets his chance that way. But Id be happy with 30m+ for him this summer too!

Do you think he is "pretty crap" because he "wastes chances" or for other reasons? I can live with wasting chances in tbe short term. Form can be improved as can confidence and also ability.
-
Being "wasteful" isn't always a lack of ability,if being judged over a small timeframe, and could easily be a confidence/form thing. I guess we will find out🤞😂
-
It's usual for us to announce a day or two after the main media reports it. Their spies are out their trying to get ahead of the game. 👀😉😂

Get JWP in for free for this season amd save some money for when we get promoted.

I can only see Ramsdale going to Leeds or Ipswich. Darlow (Leeds) is 35 and zi think Ipswichs group are not particularly the best. Coventry will presumably look to make Rushworth permanent or another loan, and Hull probably wouldn't spend the money on AR given they have a Croatian international GK (even though hes not yet started a game for Croatia I dont think). All other EPL options will only see AR as a back-up option. Maybe there could be an overseas option but we might not see much money for him. As for JWP I think he could be a decent loan option. Ive always thoight he is better as a more attacking CM snd perhaps he can be the perfect understudy for Azaz, whilst also offering defensive options/cover and obviously deadball skill. As a sub he would be a decent option. Dan Neil as well, plus 30m for Charles would be very good business. Downes, Jander, Bragg, Neil, JWP, Azaz are a very good group of CMs for the Championship. Presumably THB will leave and so the money from his sale, AR, and Charles should mean theres enough to buy a decent striker too. After that, without any more departures we would look very strong I think.
