Playing for England seems to have changed him as a person. Seems to have this arrogance about him now. Shame, massive fan of him as a player.

Has AL handed in a transfer request ?? Lots of stuff on twitter about him saying he wants to go and he's told the club this.

So sad though that once AL played for England just seems a different person, maybe even more arrogant. That pains me to say as other than Le Tiss, Lallana is someone I'm a huge fan of. All this "I want to leave", really has he forgotten he signed. 5 year deal last year? Why sign it if you might change your mind?!

What with all the player transfer talk, lambert going to Liverpool and poch leaving, does any feel they can't face watching England tonight? To be reminded how great AL, LS and SRL are? To hear the commentators bang on how could are players are and moving to "better" things?

To add to that comment, this all but confirms: Lallana's most likely destination looks to be Liverpool and the 26-year-old said he was eager to test himself in the UEFA Champions League. "I'm ambitious. I have aspirations to play in the Champions League," he said. "Ever since I've played international football, you realise there's that other level to play at. It would be great. A comment from Lallana yesterday i feel was quite telling: "Lallana, who was speaking on behalf of Vauxhall the England Team Sponsor, said: "Whether my future gets sorted before or after the World Cup makes no difference to me. "I am just fully focused on doing well for England and performing as well as I can." He has 4 years left on his contract, why would he worry about his future being sorted before or after the world cup ? The only reason i can see is he is thinking about moving. Apart from Lovern, not one player has said "'I'm happy at saints, i'm not moving". What with Poch, must admit i'm getting pretty disillusioned by it all.

The only curious thing about that picture is that it looks like the guy on the left is holding a pass to open the barrier. Could well be he is being shown around the new training centre...who knows !

More and more I read, especially on twitter, I can't see how Lallana will stay. Will be gutted to see him go.

Ok answer this: Lallana is the captain, playing the best football of his career to date, team built around him, adored by the fans and an England international. Other than champions league how will he get better anywhere else ? Look at Walcott, is he in a better position than Lallana? What has Walcott won since his "big move"? Has he played in the position he feels is best for him? Is he team captain ? People talk about ambition but why is staying with saints not ambitions IF we keep our manager and key players? He will play ever game he is fit for and be the first name on the sheet with the armband? Would he get that at a top 4 team ? Probably not. Look at players who have made these big moves: bridge, downing, a Johnson... I could go on. The big move can back fire and affect your career. Lallana sat on the bench for Liverpool would be a waste as the guy is an amazing talent. As he said playing football and being happy is important to him and KL could offer him a good wage.
