  1. It is what he says privately that is important
  2. In a kinda perverse way, would that be such a bad thing? If it happens, you could put a positive spin on it by knowing that only one result is good enough - a WIN. GD would be no good. Imagine going into the last 5 minutes not knowing if a draw will do or that you need a win...not knowing whether to stick or twist? It happens - remember when we played Wimbledon at home in the last game and Man City played Liverpool. City had a 2-2 score line, and held on to it grimly under the illusion that it was enough when it actual fact they needed a winner. That said, I hope if WH win it is only by 1-0
  3. Don't care how - as long as it happens. At the moment, I cannot let myself believe that it actually might happen though.

  5. I bet you won't be able to resists a sneeky peek now and then. I am right aren't I?
  6. You cannot start making rules about what people should or should not wear based on the fact that somebody somewhere might have some reason to be offended. Where do you draw the line? We don't live in China or North Korea. He was not breaking the law - he was just lampooning OBL - and making a bit of a t1t of himself at the same time. By the way, he did get in - just minus a flimsy rubber mask
  7. Great thanks. So just to confirm your stance - you are greatly offended by the current wax-work dummy of Hitler in Tussauds and you are also greatly offended by people in fancy dress (as Hitler, or any other Nazi, or Bin Laden) etc etc. Personally, I am not offended by people prancing around dressed up as Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd, Hitler, Bin Laden, Dracula, Ivan the Terrible, or any other dead or alive lunatic (fictional or real). Although I wouldn't do it myself, it is just fancy dress - they are taking the ****** out of the characters they portray. It's a bit different to setting up a stage in front of the Away fans entrance at 'Boro and spouting their pro Islamic Extremist or Nazi views. So, in answer to your original question, that is why I thought the Stewards were a bit OTT in their treatment of the lad. It was harmless nonsense IMHO
  8. What about if it was NOT in such a section? Like right next to Winstone Churchill, and the current Prime Minister - where Adolf Hitler stands with his fist raised while kids drape all over him with their own fists raised so that mummy and daddy take their photograph?
  9. Would you be offended by a wax-work dummy of Bin Laden being on display in Madame Tussauds?
  10. It would be nice to be a premier league team first
  11. a bit like this thread - but at least there is one reply now
  12. I couldn't bear to lose a rio - even though I wouldn't miss it of course

    I won't
  14. It's a fair point - but surely you will be teeny bit interested in following the west ham score (if it matters) next week? It is possible to both shout, scream, sing, jump up and down AND keep an eye on other scores at certain times.

That is what was being said last night - or words to that effect. I am not sure myself, but some were adamant that he would not be as motivated as he might otherwise be. Nobody was trying to say he would deliberately miss an open goal btw. Personally, I hope he scores a hat trick.
  16. They were texting their mates to see what the Sky commentators were saying about the Lallana foul
  17. Keeping up with the other scores perhaps? I know I am an avid viewer of iFooty - and will be again at the Coventry match. Obviously at 'Boro (when there were no other matches on) they were checking in on Facebook

  19. My missus says the exact same thing.

There is nothing ridiculous about the question at all - unless your English comprehension skills are lacking. As for the answers, well that may prove to be a different matter (yours especially ).
  21. You can also say, in a broad brummy accent, "I have considerably more monaay than yeeouww"- Oh, you just did that
  22. How do you reckon they will do against Hull? Oh - you edited it I see
  23. Well we already know 100% that they are not going to win against Birmingham
  24. It happens at all clubs. When I see it on TV, I do not laugh (unless it is a genuinely funny costume that is).

I don't know - I am just trying to find out what other people think. It was a topic of conversation during our night out in Ches Vegas on the return leg from 'Boro.
