I like Chaplow - and I think he did work hard today and had an assist for the second goal. However, in the second half especially, he seemed to lose the ability to control (and pass) the ball. Had a bit of a 'mare for 20 minutes in fact. However, fantastic night, great support.......but why do I still feel nervous even at 3-0. I managed to convince myself that we were still going to end up drawing or losing - especially after the soft goal we conceded. Fortunately the players are made of sterner stuff.

The OP had to get that off his chest as a kind of therapy for his current mental state This weekend could not have gone any worse, and you would have to be a robot to be immune (as fans) to the psychological impact of seeing West Ham nearly wipe out of GD card in one game. HOWEVER, you have to wipe all this negativity from you minds. If we had just beaten Reading to go three clear of West Ham (and +3 on the GD) we would be buzzing - thinking promotion was in our grasp. It matters not how we arrived at this point. The fact is, we are where we are and it is a great place to be. We played very well against Reading- and if we repeat that level of performance against Posh we will win that game. Absolutely we will. It is down to Adkins to earn his money and get the players minds in the right place, and we have turn up in numbers and do our bit.
