Keane did notend Alf-Inge Haaland's career though? Keanes tackle injured Haalands right knee. He retired due to injury to his left knee (according to wikipedia - which must be true) ;-)
Anyone who wants Pompey in the 5th round has lost the plot IMHO. Who wants to ruin our improving season with a defeat to that bunch? Too risky. I see they only had 10k at the game today - half our attendance!
Is it really that brilliant? I mean, something original and imaginative would have possibly been brilliant. I thought Keane got off quite lightly compared to the likes of Phil Thompson a few years back.
Maybe already posted - sorry if so:
I love the rant from saintsaints on this article: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4865450.Keane_glad_he_spied_on_Saints/
Does he/she post on here too?
The one that had Birtles and co swooning was defo Antonio on about 80 mins. "Beautiful ball to feet from Antonio" or words to that effect. Saw it live and on TV later.
Yes - and near the end actually played a beautifully weighted diagonal high(ish) ball to somebody to set up a chance. Think it was Lambert. That is the pass that got Birtles and co. singing his praises.
The two usual suspects from the previous round plus about 20 or 30 complete knobs ranging between 10 and 15 years of age who just meandered around grinning stupidly. There were also a few older *****s who just proved that frontal lobe lobotomies are still prevalent.
You are a nice chap s-s, but unfortunately I think your assessment of Antonio is well wide of the mark. He was a massive thorn in their side, even if he lacks a bit of subtlety - only 19 years old too.
Do you by any chance suffer from high blood pressure? You seem to be getting very uptight about it, ranting away there. Do you work for the echo or summat? What about the questions I asked?
