I absolutely love Ian Holloway and his interviews.....and I love the way he tries everything to belittle each and every club that tries to buy his best players. Great value for money (often hilarious) and great manager. Maybe it is because he is exactly the same age as me By the way, I would be ecstatic to get Matt Phillips, and I don't believe for one minute that Cortese would make any sort of illegal approach. It would be great to be a fly on the wall if Cortese and Holloway ever got shut in a room together to discuss the transfer

First time I have seen us this pre-season. Not very encouraging . Udinese were good, and Di Natale is a class act, but we cannot afford to give away shooting opportunities like that (first two goals) - great finishes though they were. Third goal was embarrassing and easily carved open for the fourth. It's a shame we couldn't test their keeper at least once. Harsh realities of the season ahead methinks.

It says that tickets can be bought online but they are not listed as available on the online ticket site. Anyone know if they can be purchased on the day?

I expect the colouring is just a theme or skin selected by the club themselves. All the clubs using this template will have their own colour scheme - and it just so happens that all our more recent marketing stuff is predominantly black with red (like the packaging for the new ST). Seems like the club have adopted the same scheme for the web site. I don't think you can blame the company producing the website template for that.

Online account for what? Tickets? From the OS, it is extremely simple. You just click on "Tickets" in the navigation bar at the top. A menu appears underneath it and you then click on "Buy tickets". That takes you to a page (Buy tickets) where you can buy tickets and also click on My Account. I cannot understand what is difficult about it to be honest. I must be missing something.

What a wierd fred. Have we ever established that we are prone to conceding long range goals then? I can't remember anything that would suggest that we are any more (or less) prone to this than any other team.

Errmm, no he is not TOTALLY on his own.....but thanks for attempting to speak for the masses. I have used it to poke about for information over the last few days and it seems OK to me. In fact, I would go as far as to say that I find it easier to find stuff on this new version than I did on the old. However, I write browser based applications for a living so maybe I am overlooking things that may not be intuitive to joe public.

It is true that the new site does not cater properly for people who are unable to perform the simplest act - like clicking on "Fixtures and results" followed by "Fixture list". I don't know what they are thinking of. Surely they can make it more obvious than that!

Having tried it tonight on a PC for the first time, it seems perfectly OK to me.

If anything is pointless, it is the HCDAJFU thread. A completely useless tome to anyone browsing the forum on an irregular basis. I actually am on here quite frequently, and still have no desire to plough through all of that to find out what players may be mentioned there. I much prefer to see individual threads about potential players, that I can either continue to follow or discard. So I like this thread and others similar to it. I would not have known about this guy without it.
