  1. Nah that's far too deep maannn, all I wanted was some lunch. No research for me! I only had the leftovers on the Monday because I was having a curry Sunday night and didn't want to spoil me appetite. I tested the boundaries of leftovers and I'm going to quit whilst I'm ahead (and not ill). You are more than welcome to continue the academic scientific research on my behalf however, let me know how you get on.
  2. Course it ****ing matters, it's even more damaging to the game than hooliganism. Cheating and diving is destroying the sincerity of the beautiful game and making a mockery of it. The sooner the cheats are stamped out the better. Rant over.
  3. Well, it's 24 hours since the leftovers. I didn't get ill and nothing happened. I will know in future that my unwritten rule for takeaway leftovers is 38 hours. I even re-heated the rice and I'm not ill at all. I just wish I had leftovers from the pizza the night before or the curry the night after now. Sorry to disappoint anyone hoping for a rule 1 of my illness (RonManager).
  4. Leftovers + 10 hrs. Feeling fine. Nothing else to report.
  5. Love that!!!!!!!!!
  6. There's actually three
  7. Yep, and feeling fine. We'll see in another 10 hours though...
  8. "F*ck off Ed, I'm trying to pull"
  9. It was all about 'The Quays' in the late 90's and early 00's
  10. I had a doner kebab pizza in Magaluf. It was alright.
  11. Then and now... Took that photo on Saturday.
  12. Upon being asked how many tickets Charlton had sold so far, one poster replied "500 of which 450 now wish they hadn't ;-)"
  13. Ah that's alright then, at least I can prepare for it. Thanks.
  14. Shredded chilli chicken, Beef, sweet and sour chicken and noodles. Was a chinese feast. Still feel fine as well...
  15. Haha, I go to work at 5, could be very interesting indeed...
  16. Course I ate the rice.
  17. Just finished - So far, so good.
  18. Just about to put it in the microwave now... Will let you know if I get food poisoning. If I do it is bungle's fault.
  19. Well it's been what, 38 hours or so since I had it. That is over double Hatch's unwritten rule. I don't have an unwritten rule and I'm hungry... Ooooh the dilemma.
  20. I had one on Saturday night and stuck the leftovers in the fridge. Will they be alright to be heated up and eaten today (Monday), even though it is over a day since I got the takeaway, or will I get food poisoning and die? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
  21. It is important to tell him how important his input to the team is with his assists, and about how it is a team game. No 'I' in 'team' and all that... I remember when I was 10 we got a new player in our team, and he was brilliant. He could hit a ball further than any 10 year old in the league, and scored some impressive goals. He scored a lot that season and we won the League and came runners-up in the cup. I only managed 6 goals that season as a right midfielder but the fact of the matter is at the end of the day we won the league and I remember that season so fondly because of that. In football if my confidence was ever low I'd just get a ball and hit it into the goal, cos I used to get a feel of the ball hitting the net and it helped, psychologically. Sounds rather silly I know. Confidence is a tricky one but as long as his manager isn't telling him he should be scoring more and as long as he is praising him for his all round effort then hopefully he should get over it as the season progresses. I know it's not about football but I also play cricket. In football I am really quite confident. With cricket I suffer loss of confidence easily, but with a good knock with the bat or a few wickets I get my confidence back. I'm definitely a confidence player and my confidence levels go up and down like a yo-yo. When it is low I don't enjoy it, which sounds similar to what your son feels I guess. Transferring that to football, I reckon that as soon as your nipper bangs in a goal he will gain a bit of confidence again, and so on and so on. Sorry if that's no help at all, but that's what I feel anyway.
  22. Hmmm I guess it makes more sense if you bring the IRA into the equation, but by no means does it make alright. I couldn't care less about freedom of speech in a situation like this, they shouldn't be allowed to upset the remembrance of those who died and are continuing to die. I also agree with DSM they should be prosecuted with something, but I don't know what it would be. I understand what Wiltshire said about how it's not the law to respect the minute's silence but it is downright disrespectful and something should be done. As you might be able to tell I feel quite strongly about remembering those who died because it is important we don't forget their sacrifice. However; rant over.
  23. Why should being 'anti-British' have anything to do with remembering the dead, surely many Scots died in the two world wars and in conflicts since? Disgraceful.
  24. Why do they 'boo'?
  25. I guess MLG's point is that there is a huge sticky thread already existing on this topic...
