Oh yeah *And Glasgow_Saint, look at it on the other hand, a win and we could climb above Stockport...

"Southampton don't look very good at all." Just what we want them to think, muwahaha. Despite our defeat to Brighton I'm also looking forward to this one, it's going to be tough and a real test. It will be interesting to see our bouncebackability levels and how we react to Sunday's defeat but I'm confident we can match Norwich, one of the better teams in this league. And Glasgow_Saint, look at it on the other hand, a win and we could be out of the relegation zone...

Is it!? Excellent!

Thursday nights in Winch are a lot better as it is Student night, lots of crazy drunken antics going on then... And where is this Stella street??
-
Like I said last night, keeping a clean sheet is often irrelevant if you are taking your chances up the other end. (And I know we didn't take our chances last night and so it is important in this instance, but this is looking at a wider view). Looking at these games: We beat Gillingham 4-1 Southend 3-1 Oldham 3-1 MK Dons 3-1 So we didn't keep clean sheets in those games but we still won convincingly. Yes, it is still conceding a goal a game but we also scored 13 goals in those 4 games which can't be complained at really, can it?

+1.

I hate threads like this. They make me wish I was born 50 years ago!

My first away game was Exeter in the League Cup last year... I'll get my coat...
-
Hmm yeah I guess. Good point. I'll retract all previous statements and agree with this.
-
Yeah I also agree with that, I guess there needs to be some sort of equilibrium between the top teams and the bottom teams in relation to wins.
-
Well not really, considering if teams like Wycombe and Stockport and Tranmere all go on a winning streak then it will ultimately be more difficult for us to move up the table, especially if we lose a couple of games.
-
Wouldn't it be worse if all the teams in our immediate vicinity were winning each week? Right now what happens at the top of the table doesn't affect us as much as what happens at the bottom of the table, so it is doing us a favour, as we need the teams around us to keep losing.
-
Yeah I agree it does get sung way too fast. Then because of that, people only join in the 'na na na' bit, and then it sounds rubbish. Slow it down!

I'll take Norwich at home. We've shown we are as good as the best teams in this league by beating Charlton and MK Dons so I see no reason why we can't beat Norwich. As for MK Dons or Hereford, I am confident we'd beat them over two legs and so Wembley looks a real possibility. Don't get me wrong, Norwich is going to be a really tough game.
-
No, probably not.

This it - http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/predictionleague/ ??

Yeah that's a point - Losing at Huddersfield and Swindon as well...
-
Well I see where you are coming from, but the players can be incredibly nervous before the match and still outclass the opposition.
-
I don't understand
-
Yeah, we've only lost one home game in the League, and then to Birmingham in the Carling Cup.
-
Playing football is going to be interesting tonight - It's blowing a hoolie here.
-
Splendid.

Yeah, 30,000 of which don't see us play week-in, week-out, and I'd be well p!ssed off if they got a ticket and I didn't. Does anyone know how the ticket system works; do season ticket holders get priority, or people who have attended JPT games prior to the final do they get priority?

R U 100% Attendance Away From Home?
RedAndWhite91 replied to didulike1t's topic in Saints Away Supporters
I have only missed one home game due to the fact I was in Zante at the time and have only missed 3 away games (Huddersfield, Stockport and Oldham). Other than those I can't see why I will miss another home game and I plan to do every away game until the end of the season, money and health permitting.
