There are some things the BNP say which I agree with. However having seen some of the members and their links to the National Front and Neo-Nazi groups, having seen some of the off the record things they've said regarding Holocaust denial and the like, having seen the plain racism which they think is acceptable, I could never vote for them. I can't help but think half their policies are completely made up, with the intention of letting people hear what they want to hear. Much like every political party I guess. If the BNP got in, I don't think they'd give a toss about the ritual slaughter of animals without pre-stunning, I think they'd be straight onto deporting hard working immigrants just because they are of a different colour or nationality. The BNP talk about the Muslim invasion of Britain, right? There are more American immigrants in England than there are any other immigrant nationality. Going to deport them too Mr. Griffin? The BNP is riddled with thugs, racists, white supremacists and unjustified prejudice, and whilst I agree with some of their (probably made up) points, I'd never vote for a party that is so stained by ignorance and bigotry.

FWIW I do agree and there was many a time where he could/should have made the pass. However, he makes things happen, is creative, and I can't complain.

Yeah, I turned 19 in March, voted in the locals and EU ones but never in a General Election.

If it wasn't for immigration then I wouldn't be here. My great grandmother moved to South Africa from Russia, and then her daughter, my Nan, moved from SA to England. It's for that reason I can't possibly have a problem with controlled and legal immigration. She worked for many years at Aeostructures in Hamble as a riveter. It's the illegal immigration of people who don't work that I have a problem with.

Never voted in a General Election before, but voted Lib Dem in locals and UKIP in EU elections... Think I'll be voting Tory just to help oust Labour but I live in a Lib Dem stronghold, and my local prospective Tory MP seems a bit useless, so could well be Lib Dem. I would definitely change my vote depending on the leader, policy, etc each year.

Don't forget that we nearly became Allies with Germany. Hitler had great respect for us cos he thought English were too an Aryan race and upon signing the Anglo German Naval Agreement in 1935 he said it was the 'happiest day of his life' as he thought it would be the start of a great alliance.

Course there's a distinct line. Patriotism - Having pride in one's country. --------------line------------------- Racism - Hating somebody for their skin colour, nationality, ethnicity etc Xenophobia - Fear of foreigners. That's how I see it, and the way I see it is that there is a difference.

I know a lot of people do and there's nothing wrong with putting Britain first. But racism is very wrong and all racists should be extremely ashamed of themselves.

B0ll0cks and you know it. I am patriotic and want the best for England and the UK, but within reason I have absolutely no problem with foreign people legally coming to the UK and working. It's people like you who taint patriotism with racism and try and blur the quite distinct line between the two.
