  1. I'm looking through the BNP website. It's all a bit dramatic!! "Join The British Resistance" "It's Time To Make A Stand" etc etc This picture made me laugh: Whilst in principle I do agree with a few of their points they don't half over dramatise things.
  2. Had one of them in Magaluf... Well nice.
  3. +1 Just watch Great Rock n Roll Swindle - "Me this" and "Me that".. "I planned it all". Wonder how John Lydon reacted to the news.
  4. I've had a deep fried mars bar. Amazing!
  5. Biltong is lovely, as is boerewors, which is a South African sausage. Having family come from South Africa I been lucky enough to have these, and they are delicious.
  6. Appeasement? We would have let them carry on if they hadn't invaded Poland, who we had the peace pact with. Germany was a nice buffer between the Communist USSR for a while.
  7. If you think about it we are one planet orbiting one star in one galaxy. In our galaxy, there is approx 100–400 BILLION stars, and the sun is just one of them. It is estimated there are 170 billion galaxies in the observable Universe. Say there is 250 billion stars in each galaxy (for the purpose of guesstimating), that means there is like, 42500 billion stars in the Universe*. We orbit just the one. When you think of it that way, we are so tiny and insignificant, and with the amount of stars and galaxies in the Universe I find it so difficult to see how there isn't some form of life out there. I find it fascinating. *Excuse my maths if that is wrong, my maths is awful
  8. I wouldn't go into a panic if the BNP won another seat or two. They will never win a majority and they are a legal political party so I don't see the problem. I won't be voting for them, but at the same time I won't be worrying if they gain.
  9. "Had a guy follow me in toilet absolutley **** myself ... Tried to have a sneaky look didn't he !!!!! Haha never again" - Robbie Savage on his twitter page. Oh Dibden, what have you been up to!?
  10. Ah, another idiotic thread moaning about idiocy.
  11. Starkers.
  12. Old man..
  13. Yeah, Bedford Place is quality.
  14. And not one of them thought to whack out a camera and take a photo?
  15. Sod going to pubs in Winch - I don't go on an night out to go to pubs. You do get the posh tw*ts in Winch, but as I have previously said, there's a LOT of people in Winch who I know, so it's great to go out and see so many mates, cheap drinks, and have a right laugh. Southampton is better as a whole.
  16. Now now, Pat Butcher doesn't have a dog.. I bought some running/gym trainers the other day, gonna start running and hit the gym after the hospital have confirmed my foot isn't fractured (long story). I'll be all good for the match. No dramas.
  17. I'm sure my Dad would tell you the worst food he's ever (nearly) eaten was when him and his mate where in Spain, in the middle of nowhere, at a gas station in which no one spoke English. He ordered what he thought was a sausage wrapped in bacon. His mate ordered what he thought was some sort of risotto. Well, turns out the sausage wrapped in bacon was the supposed Spanish delicacy of a Bull's penís, and the risotto was in fact Tripe. They left soon after without eating any of it!
  18. I reckon it might be. I think there'll be a lot of people like me who, when asked who they are voting for will say "Oh I don't know yet" but fully know. Like someone else posted earlier, perhaps those dissatisfied Labour voters from a bygone era won't bother voting? Landslide or no landslide, Tories will win the election.
  19. Vaguely remember Major, but yes, you're right, I'm too young. I know what the Poll Tax riots were as well. You can see why Blair was voted in, fresh new face, bright vision for the future. But that bright vision has turned into a dull nightmare. Now it seems the Conservatives are about to win a landslide victory, and I just hope they can learn by the past mistakes made by previous governments. As I said in my previous post, only time will tell whether they will be a success or a failure. If they fail then they have no-one else to blame other than themselves, just like Labour. Oh, except Labour won't blame themselves. It's always someone else's fault isn't it.
  20. That's fair enough that you're a young'un too, it's interesting how our opinions differ on growing up with Labour. At the end of the day it is just down to opinion isn't it. I still feel David 'Dave' Cameron comes across as more trustworthy than Brown, not sure why. I think it is a little harsh to say he has no substance, I genuinely think he does. Only time will tell though. The letters I have received from the Tories have made me think "Hm, yeah, I like that idea" to myself, but again, only time will tell if they actually go through with their promises, or if they are just simply 'ideas' at the end of the day. Labservatives, as you put it. In an ideal world the Lib Dems would come to power and sort out the country. Brilliant. But I can't see it happening. And don't remind me of the argument: "Well, if everyone 'wasted a vote' on Lib Dem then they'd come to power" I just can't see it happening. I'm pretty disillusioned with Government as it is, if the Conservatives don't deliver, well, that'll be the final straw for me and the status quo!
  21. Being 6 when Labour came to power I've seen nothing but Blair and Brown all my life really. And I've had enough. Blair went to war on a lie, conned the public into believing it would be for the greater good, yet it was only self serving and look what it did. Gordon Brown, spineless coward. I was prepared to give him a chance when he came in, he said he'd promise change, yet it's just a case of 'meet the new boss, same as the old boss'. Worst PM we've ever had. And I can't stand the sight of his corrupt government and his cronies, Mandelson, Harman, Darling etc. they make me sick. I'm not a Tory supporter by any stretch of the imagination but I'm more than sure I'd like to give them a chance to prove themselves. It is perfect time for them to come in and be an improvement on Labour, which can't be that difficult. I'm prepared to see what they can do, I'll let them have a chance. If, however, they c*ck it up big style, then I'm sad to say I would have lost confidence in all politics and I'd be looking for something a little bit more extreme than your standard 3 main parties, who all seem to be converging towards the same viewpoints anyway. Vote for change? Yes, I will, a change from Gordon Fxcking Brown and his inept Labour cabinet.
  22. How anyone can 'not mind' Labour is well beyond me.
  23. Read this today in the News of the World at work. It was a little article in the corner of the page. It actually said that they (NotW) have seen secret plans that the EU plan to downgrade it, rename it 'Le Pond', and use British taxpayers money to pay for the downgrade. They also said it is part of an EU masterplan to create a giant European superstate encompassing the UK. Whilst I'm not the EU's biggest fan, I reckon it's all a load of b0ll0cks.
  24. Wednesdays are shíte and so is the Pitcher. It's all about Thursdays Cheap drinks, all your mates out, plenty of totty, start the night in Mikiki and end it smashed in 3one
  25. "Pound for pound,we are the GRATEST suporters in the land and quite possible the world" Hmmmmmm...
