  1. This.....! Outcome - Best = liquidation - next best points deduction...at least minus 15 - worst they live to struggle on with all income diverted to creditors & reliant on the phew to finance them..good job they're so bestest. What a wonderful choice of prospects to be looking forward to! Side note - what an insult to Linvoy Primus particularly as it could still be the last game ever played there. cheats
  2. £125k - seems excellent value...a great signing - I just hope we can keep Dan Harding & Fish Mills happy too & we'll have excellent left side cover. Excellent piece of business!
  3. I suspect that they're looking forward to a couple of free Saturdays instead!
  4. My apologies for the 'Yawn' comment - it's not a habit & may even be the first but I could have typed 'This forum is not about the same subjects being discussed ad infinitum by people with their own agendas re SFC & assorted personnel therein' Discuss Obviously a forum is exactly that but my dementia-suffering mother in a home in Woodlands is less repetitive than an awful lot of this. I have no real issue with the perpetrators - I find most posters amusing, informative or not but it seems a failure to ever move away from the themes is more damaging to the ethos of a forum than a number of posters - myself included - who have replied to this thread in one or more of it's previous incarnations
  5. Yaaaaawn....again
  6. Fair point but relies on being 100% sure that she/he's gone. In her hypothetical defence I wouldn't want to livein Hull or Wolverhampton for sure:)
  7. Yawn...look at me post! If it's 100% htf can it be an either/or?
  8. I think Cortese is running a very good business & making it possible for the footballing management & staff to do their part due to that. Nobody runs a business to win friends, you're never going to please everybody & I have every sympathy with his stance over the Echo - it wasn't him who broke the agreement..they did it for their own business reasons. Again, no issue with that but they found they were dealing with a man who meant what he said & suffered the consequences. I like the way that nobody knows our transfer business until it's happened - it's professional, unlikely to be hijacked & refreshing. To take issue with that you need your bumps felt ...or a crash course in running a succesful business.
  9. Nor me...I did have some sympathy with those who wanted to stick a firwork under those bone idle (when we wanted the ball) ball boys:x From Lowestoft too...
  10. Posted by rallyboy 'a silence only broken by the noise of tax officials erecting gallows in the car park.' That's poetic that is!
  11. Notice he's got a squad number so it's probaby just cr*p. Agree on both the commitment & the skill comments but massively enjoyed his enjoyment at Wembley & would be sorry to see him go when it eventually happens.
  12. Unlikely - Think of how many letters you'd have to pay for in the club shop if you wanted his name on your back! Ker-ching!
  13. For me it was a mellow course & (despite the fact that I worked out that i've driven close on a couple of million miles) I learnt a couple of things. Mine (in N.Wales) was run by a police driving instructor who didn't preach or demean - just pointed out the various consequences. I think you're lucky to get the opportunity at 39 mph..the threshold in N. Wales was 35mph i.e. 2mph over the 10% tolerance. I was amazed at some of the people on the course's self-righteousness attitude. 'It was only a bit over...etc'. I know the law, we all know the law - if you exceed the speed limit & get caught you're bl**dy lucky to get the chance to go on the course. As for taking the course over the points - no brainer! Check the insurance consequences.
  14. And I never thought I'd agree with you but that is how I view it too....
  15. I think you mistake fretting with enjoying...we, 30 odd thousand posts & 600 pages down the line, are still loving the comedy, the false hope, the appalling results, the greedy players & officials, the wonderful array of class-lacking morons attaching themselves to the cast, the pure schadenfreude of it all. We've even learnt to love the HMRC! And there's still the Saggy & Storrie Show to come:D
  16. If the HMRC (as I expect) win the appeal - does the CVA have to go back to squre one &, if so, will the 'new' expectation for player sales be part of an even smaller offer? Or will the offer be bigger still if/when the Football creditors are combined with the rest. Your input much valued by the way...it's a long way beyond my experience now...normal conditions just don't seem to apply!
  17. :lol:Page 600 & we don't get excited any more...it's like a comfortable, endlessly funny soap opera. Can't help feeling that the end is nigh though....Blue Square Premier at best, obliteration at better than that!
  18. If the rumours of where your current escort comes from are true you'll probably get one!
  19. Definitely a Granada...check out the '76 Youtube with Channon's testimonial match.
  20. Saw Wayne Thomas having a crafty puff in a black Chav Rover Sport...think it was before the Leeds game - he was named sub but came on in the first half....a roll up too but I was parked upwind:shakey:
  21. Bringemallon!
  22. Intimate as in more c*ckroaches, slugs, fleas etc procreate there than most sewers in the rest of Europe.
  23. For practise while your hands are little;)
  24. For scratching your nuts?! (male)
  25. Heard from a teaching friend of a lad called Lee....his middle name is Tissier. How cool is that?!... & what an understanding wife. She might not have known till later of course..
