Lets be honest, agents would deal with Satan if it meant them getting more money. They probably wont deal with us because there isn't much in it for them. Thats why they love good old Harry etc because 'he sees they're alright'.

What I cant work out is, that with Stoke, his long throws very often paid off with goals. He did it once here against Sunderland I think.

Being a little controversial. Even in the Premiership 32000 was and will be adequate in terms of capacity. We tended to average about 29-31k with the big games selling out, which is still very good compared to many others. Any increase would just result in empty seats in my opinion. Also, whilst a lot on here site the fact that we took 40k+ to Wembley, I reckon at least 10K of them went for the day out. I knew people that went to that game that never go to St Marys and one or two that don’t even like football! If we based any expansion of St Marys on that then why didn’t AFC Totton build their new ground to hold 10k, as they to something like that to Wembley when they played there. In short 32k is and will be enough for many years to come, even in the Premiership.

He also is a great for criticising others, but he never actaully faced any of the real fast bowlers like Lillee, Thompson, and Roberts etc due to his exile from Test Cricket in the 70s

Ian Balding? I think was his name used to be on the SFC Board

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-13788594 Do you reckon he had to go through the normal recruitment process i.e. submit his CV, get shortlisted and go for an interview before he got the job?

I doubt whether this will delay things, as it would would just been a hearing so that he could make a plea anyway.

Is that the game when Dennis Hollywood unleashed what could only be described as an assualt on Mike Summerbee. I remember Summerbee yelping as the tackle went in. To be fair he wasn't rolling around, he got up pretty quickly. Hollywood wasn't even booked.

I got run over by a moped as a result of looking the wrong way when crossing the road there. I had a graze in the shape of a tyre tread on the side of my calf.

Can anyone remember when we played Oldham in the Texaco cup, and at half time the pitch was set up for a race involving 400 metre runner Donna Murray. While the race was on some bird leapt out of the Milton, and joined in, with stewards chasing her, the whole thing turned in to a complete farce.

Another great night was Newcastle in the Texaco Cup

The one thing that I remember about evening games at the dell is thay you could smell the linement that the players rubbed into their muscles, but for 3:00 kick off you couldn't. Best game for me West Brom in 76 FA Cup Reply and Man City in 79 League Cup.

He sounds like he should be married to Taylor Swift

No it definitely was'nt, I've still got the ticket stub for some reason.

I agree, and I wont be too stressed out about it, but I'm sure that there will be quite a few on here that will not be happy.

I agree, happy with progress but I think we're going to see a **** storm on here when season ticket prices etc are announced.

Rohan Ricketts on his way to Saints ?

Apparently he was co winner of the Canadian Golden Boot in 2008 with 2 goals. The highest ever number of goals scored to win this prestigious award is 3. Hopefully they'll be no Canadian strikers on the HCDAJFU list. They must all wear those solid gold boots that the Goodies had to wear when the Commonwealth Games took place on August Bank Holiday Island. -
Barcelona tonight - an insight into our future?

My dentist has a picture of the Ramblers on his ceiling, I have to stare at it every time a go there. As a result I can only think of pain when the the Ramblers is mentioned. I'd much rather he had a picture of Soton town centre on a Saturday night up there at least it could confirm that the people in it are feeling as much discomfort as I am. -
To be honest I think he'll come out of this ok. He'll get another job in the NPC, and Cardiff are probably at the limit of investment they can make in order to get promoted, players will leave and they could struggle next year. All their fans will be then blaming the Board for sacking him. Of course, I could be wrong.

Does he still run the Cafe in Albert Sq with Sue?

I thought the brown acid they told us not to take at Woodstock wasn't available anymore.
