  2. Saw your post on the Jamboskickback site. May even join them for a pre-match lemonade when they've decided where they are meeting.
  3. I concur with the ballistic one
  4. Saints first - only interested in England if it's football or cricket -not bothered otherwise
  5. oops - just accidently bumped something
  6. This thread directed by David Lynch
  7. Seems everyone else involved has pleaded guilty, but he's hanging on. If I were him i'd change my plea and take it on the chin (!), or he's really going to do some long-term damage to his reputation.
  8. Apparently this song is on the menu for the Hearts fans - " Good old Sussex by the sea, Good old Sussex by the sea We're going up To win the cup For Sussex by the sea. "
  9. Qu'est que c'est? fa fa fa fa, fa fa fafafafa.
  10. Take back that affront to my age and I might lend you a tenner!!
  11. Just giving my first thread a little bit of TLC.
  12. Didn't know Wham! played badminton at international level!
  13. Best wishes Ed. I was unaware of the Saints connection. By the way, does anyone know who the other presenters support?
  14. Not sure what happened there.
  15. Way back when in 1977 or maybe 1978, Talking Heads came over on what I believe was their first tour to promote their new album Talking Heads '77. They played at Southampton University. At the time I worked in a record shop in Winchester and we had tickets for the gig. I was stood at the front looking up at her. She was very unsure and David Byrne kept coaching and encouraging her. She was using a large green plastic triangular plectrum and dropped it. It bounced off the stage and I picked it up. She had spares so I trousered it. By the way, the support band that night was Dire Straits!!!

  17. I've got her plectrum.
  18. Then you'd need a steak knife to sharpen it. Coat
  19. I reckon he's done this as a bet with his mates - see who can buy a premier league team first.
  20. Very nice at this time of year so I'm told
  21. Try looking on the result thread
  22. Mine didn't even get to me. I've had to contact the club and have a new one issued. I've decided to pick it up in person at the Hearts match. It should have come with the Ajax ticket. This ticket did arrive in a ripped, muddy envelope with a boot print on it. Heaven knows where the season ticket is! However, the club were excellent in replacing it, no hassles at all.
  23. Just been in touch with some old Hearts friends from my Edinburgh days who reckon there could be a decent turn out of away fans, on a west country mini-break, doubling with the Plymouth match on the Tuesday.
