With saints being so unpredictable I'm not sure I could go through watching the playoffs :-S Watching Leon best ruin it for us nearly killed me... Although that may have been due to the flying pint glasses in the varsity...

Just read this article and it does make you stop and realise what a good position we are in. So so happy about today. One thing confusing me, lots of people talking like that's it for Bournemouths automatic push and even the Bournemouth fans saying we'll get prompted in an auto spot. Are we not on the same amount of points at the mo (granted we have games in hand) and therefore as of next weekend Bournemouth could win and we could lose and they would be above us again!!? Surely today doesn't confirm anything apart from they have again failed to beat us....

But on what scale is this arrogance?? A few people speaking this way on here pre-season doesnt represent what the majority of saints fans think. I think bournemouth fans truly believe we all think like that when its probably just a few immature, idotic fans, which exist at all clubs. I'm sure arrogance among a few fans exists in the lowest leagues too where they have unrealistic views/expectations. Maybe I'm just naive. Wouldnt be the first time..

I think there would just as much dispear whoever we are or what the expectation is. Losing sucks. I've never got the impression that people have thought only top two is acceptable simply because we are Southampton FC (that would be arrogant as that doesnt mean much anymore). Surely thats more about the fact that we now have billionaire owners so you would predict it would happen. Is that arrogant?

Who are these "we" though Turkish? I'm not arrogant about it, I presume you wouldnt say your arrogant about it as you can do no wrong, and noone I speak to on a daily basis expects us to walk this league or buy our way out of this league. The club haven't been arrogant in my eyes either and always said they will respect the league despite being able to buy their way out of it if they wanted to (apparently). The majority are intelligent enough to work out where we are these days and why and have realistic expectations.

What is it with the Daily echo... They make me hate football sometimes..... The bournemouth fans really do sound jealous and scared. All these comments of "we are going to beat them well and show them how small their club really is and if we don't then it doesnt matter because we're not expected to win anyway" Does that not contradict itself somewhat???

Our latest two additions arent even getting much playing time so surely we could do without shaking the team up any more.
