Better hurry... There were a few "Saintsweb" types loitering around looking for it as it wasnt blatently obvious where they were. (I'm sure I walk around with my eyes closed though)..
-
How funny, they are now 3.99 and about 6 or 7 copies left. Guess it's been popular since this thread was posted :-)

Is the one above the actual stickman or a p!ss take? very camp indeed.

You mean this thread really isn't a joke?? Worrying after we've played one league game??? What am I missing. It is a joke right?
-
Yeah I hate it when the song requires you to stand up. The whole of the Itchen remain seated and look around at each other nervously waiting for someone else to do it. which they dont. Leaves you with a feeling of embarassment and makes it look like you dont love the saints. Just dont fancy standing up, thanks.

and I'm sure as a grandad thats harder than it sounds ;-)

Great post I thought, It really wouldn't be the end of the world if we couldn't buy our way into the premier league anymore. It does take something away from the achievement. What he's done already is more than we could ever have asked for at our hour of need last year.

Did you???? must have been a bloomin' borun game....... Although angry birds is good....

Think he's just putting a brave face on :-D some people have a problem letting their emotions show. Fair play to everyone on this forum who have shown they really have a heart; Surprised by some of the level headed kind words said by some posters on here who would normally be less likeable :-)

Here here my friend!!!!!! Was a little strange going to the stadium on my own for a while but I'm used to it now. None of my friends are into Saints like I am so they would just laugh if I asked them to get a season ticket with me. Know exactly what you mean about mates in relationships. They dont exactly advertise the benefits of being in a relationship very well!!! Heres to singledom and looking like a saddo at the stadium on your own Maybe the recent events just dont affect people who have relationships and stuff going on in their lives as much, as they maybe don't focus on the club so religiously....
-
I agree, I'm in exactly the same position as you in life...(sad isnt it as I'm 27 ffs) but it definately gives me sometHing to love and follow with passion. Markus was part of that thing that filled the void and now a small hole has reappeared... Deep. WIFM

Sorry to dig up an old thread... Thinking of getting a tattoo saying "Saints FC" in italics on my inner forearm, with maybe a halo above the "i".....Something like below; Is that Ghey?? Tac-tics, did you ever get yours done? Seems a significant time; marking the passing of the guy who saved our club.

I'm asking myself those questions too. I woke up this morning and for the first time In my life I genuinely had to think for a second whether it was a bad dream or not. I mean, to go through the lows and following highs of last year, get some stability, squabble because the media is bored and then this..it's insane and I can't quite believe it's happened. Never felt so all over the place about someone elses business....

My head is in a funny place right now. One minute we are going down a path filled with negativity over the way the club Is going (due to decisions made), the next we are involved In a media war over poxy photographs. Now we have been catapulted into mourning over the loss of our owner. Thought it would be good for people to share where their heads are right now with regards to saints.., Personally I still feel a bit numb and that my emotions have taken a battering over the last couple of weeks. Stupid really when you consider it all evolves around "watching some guys kick a football about". I struggle to feel such emotion in my day to day life generally. Standing outside the stadium today brought it all together for me and made the events of the last couple of weeks seem totally irrelevant. I now feel saddened, anxious about the future and exhausted after a crazy couple of weeks... Where's your head at?

Think the glory glory one would sound good sang real slowly at the start of the match in the owts slow version stylee

10 min+ rendition of 'oh when the saints' last night

... and I'm sure I've heard it sang much longer before... Atmosphere was dull up until half time I thought. I might just be grumpy too tonight. -
Markus Liebherr RIP. All tributes here please.

RIP Big fella. Still completely gobsmacked. Will forever remember seeing your cheery face at SMS... Thank you and good night. -
Maybe you and Saint_Stevo could go on a day trip to Specsavers together?
-
Ah........... Bed it is....
-
Feel like I'm being held to ransome by SSN... can't go to bed after waiting this long...
-
That would be a good idea. Or Maybe some fans from the northam stand could take on the responsibility of sitting in various different areas and spurring everyone on around them!? Itchen needs some leaders :-)
-
Thank you for sharing that with us. Good (in a round about way) that we have something in common I do, however feel compelled to join in though if everyone around me starts. But I guess if everyone is in our boat then its never going to change

Getting back on track, I havent been to many home games but maybe those that have could confirm if its common for three quarters of the stadium to be filled with mutes whilst one stand does all the supporting??? I'm sure it's got worse at St Marys but that may just be because I spend most games in the Itchen stand these days.....
-
I'll sign something for you at St Marys if you contribute. Come on, pick yourself up and carry on. It will be alright.
