I like the sound of this and really hope this is the case. He would have had a hell of a lot of other more important things on his mind last season than milking his new found status with the fans.... I really wish I was invited to that dinner :-(

Not a lot. He has expressed a strong interest in making the move but has to be done in the right way. He avoided commiting himself to anything concrete but sounds a certainty to me. He isnt particularly easy to listen to though with his repeated phrases and talking about himself in third person all the time. cringe.

Im willing to give him a chance. I didnt know much about Pardew when he came in tbh and I soon took to him. I think some people are just looking for that "celebrity" name over whether he could actually do a good job for us. Anywho.... nothings certain yet. Its just an echo statement...

I wore mine the day they went on sale whilst watching the first England game and by the end of the night it had a fag burn in it and was covered in JD & coke.... Not sure that has anything to do with a curse though. I was ****ed.

This season is far more mental than the last already We should have given Pardew this season though, he deserved it after what he made out of the troubles of last season. Cant see Cortese denying the new manager a full season next season though........ actually, who knows what goes on in his impatient head. I'd like to think he's learning from his mistakes though.....

I think whoever we get in, we can write this season off due to all that has already gone on. The new manager will be judged on next season and Cortese will have to just take this poor season on the chin. Next season will be a whirlwind one though with all guns blazing...

Exactly my thoughts. some of it is almost cringy.

Anyway, went out to New Forest in the end. Went to Whitley Ridge Hotel in Brockenhurst. The place looked amazing; a very grand mansion in really nice grounds. We were the only customers in the whole place though and the staff came out from their hidey holes after a while of us being in there. Was quite creepy and a strange experience having everyone waiting on only us.The place used to be a Michelin restaurant but was sold off, after problems I guess. The food looked amazing and very posh but ultimately lacked flavour and was in the end pretty disappointing. Good place for the wow factor though and they are refurbishing soon (not that its needed) so they may improve the food then too.
