  1. When Storrieteller goes to court and gets convicted won't that ban him from being a director of a football club ?
  2. so another to take the PL FPP test then ?
  3. HMRC shoot it to avoid it continuing to increase its debt, its better from HMRC point of view for the employees etc to be employed elsewhere and their tax to be paid rather than as it is currently. WU means as far as I can see there is no admin period , its straight to the knackers yard for the bullet in the head, the companies identity is killed to prevent it arising as a Phoenix with potentially the same problems, thats why those who care about the way they do business and maybe want to see the company have a chance to survive take the admin option.
  4. nope been said quite a few times now on here, HMRC no longer have any preferred status , they join the queue like everyone else, thats why they go for WUO now, and they are unlikely to accept a cva either so thats the Golden Share gone as well. If Chainrai has mortgage on all PCFC assets and therefore a secured loan but no golden share what happens to the clubs players? There maybe no corpse to pick over!! But if the movement of the PCFC assets to Chainrai after the service date of the WUO is illegal then with PCFC assets not able to match the debt it has to move to WU, Did anyone complain to the Insolvency Service mentioned on here yesterday? http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/
  5. Is this thread as confusing as the accounts at FP? Even Avram seems confused perhaps thats why he's getting in new players and no one's told him about the 10th Feb or maybe he expects to be paid then? Bet the only ones providing a service to PCFC not indebted to is Unit One!!!!
  6. well the new player must be the only thing that Chainrai doesn't have a charge over!, is he due a signing on fee? whats the PFA doing they should be telling players the chances of not getting paid , and do the players have insurance? what happens if one gets a career ending injury ?
  7. Isn't Chainrai in effect the mortgage holder on Fratton Park and therefore a secured loan? St Marys defaulted to Norwich Union not to the hands of the administrator didn't it? Just disappointed to log in and find they are still going !!!!!!!!
  8. watching that programme is just so funny, billionaire, lambo own jet and no money for Pompey !!!!!!!!
  9. or this link perhaps http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/howtocomplain/complaincib.htm
  10. try this lot Secretary of State for the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, they can do it on the grounds of public interest, following an investigation into the Company by Companies Investigation Branch of the Insolvency Service
  11. [quote Sadly the Pl is fast becoming the cess pit of owners who want a football club as a status symbol and dont have the love of the game like most fans But is PCFC starting to rub the shine off that status?, thats reflected in the low transfer rates during this window which shows a lack of confidence by the backers and investors. Why associate yourself with a failing brand? PCFC are tarnishing the Premier League and also any company with a PO postcode that may of had dealings with them . Any company that maybe owed money by them may find that people start to ask questions as to their trading postition? will we get paid by them if we supply goods? therefore PCFC tarnishes the name of Portsmouth to a far greater extent than that of football. Ordinary people then get caught up in the mess through no fault of their own with businesses going bust all in the name of an FA Cup win. Indeed if the bubble is about to burst then the money men will be looking elsewhere and clubs need to look inwards and be run within their own income stream. Saints need to make sure that we're run as a self financing company and for that to happen we need to maintain the gates and sales of merchandise, deleting the brand name on the shirts next season means plenty of sales to keep the money rolling.
  12. Maybe, but it would mean that clubs would gain no advantage in having players on their books who they have not kept upto date on the payments, infact it would be a disadvantage as they would be paying wages for players but not able to field them. PFC aside finance in football is due a big shakeup not heard of other clubs so far not keeping upto date in the Premier, infact how many transfer embargos have there been in the Premier League?
  13. 10.48 Leeds United have cancelled the contract of David Prutton, which could allow the midfielder to join Colchester United permanently after he linked up with Aidy Boothroyd's side on loan last week.
  14. reckon its time for a rule change all players on the field of play must have all transfer fee's paid upto date, any arrears should lead to the player being 'banned' until payments are made. that would stop clubs just getting in players to the detriment of other clubs around them who pay their way and basically cheating their way to either a cup win or league position
  15. My point was that sales made in the transfer window would be valid, no point in chasing them and voiding them as the players would not belong to the club any longer anyway, perhaps I worded it badly. Players are not like a 'normal' asset such as a vehicle or a piece of land they have separate contracts. Yes wages have to be paid up til they are sold or no longer have a contract , but any sales made would stand and they would not be repossessed.
  16. Well if they have a winding up order the players won't be an asset anyway as all contracts will be void. Therefore no point in voiding any sales since the date of presentation as the players will not belong to the club.
  17. yes given leave to appeal but it had to be on a legal point, pretty sure if they had appealed then the others wouldn't of joined the petition but gone it alone, after all they are all after the same thing. still as every player these days seems to be sold in installments still don't see how theyare going to cover any of the debts, and come tomorrow the next installments will need to be made
  18. Portsmouth City Council would be in deep do do if theres no football with the required finance to use the site, and besides as with all planning applications money talks !!!!!!!!! Don't forget fratton isn't pcfcs anyway , anyone buyibg the club would have to do a deal to get it back, so for a club only 10 yrs or so old they are really in the sh!t
  19. maybe everyone takes just a bucket to St Marys, make sure they all have hole in the bottom for any money to fall thru exactly as it does in their finance office we could still say Saints fans having a bucket collection for PFC, dear lisa theres a hole in my bucket
  20. but won't players be on installments or is reason for undisclosed fee that Spuds are getting a really cheap one off payment deal ?
  21. Reckon paying that bill in the Channel Isles would be a great coup, even get a club ambassador to hand over the payment, anyone think of anyone suitable? great PR for the Saints and of course Sky would be invited
  22. Niemi should be praised for taking their wage and helping to push them to the edge. Always a star in RED n WHITE , the fact he may play for the skates will not dull the memory, you should be treated with respect until the whistle blows to start the game, as soon as the whistle ends the game hes back in the respect zone in between he should be treated as any skate should with total disrespect.
  23. surely even the sale of players won't be a big help as the payments won't be in one lump but on the never never? really think it will be one of the smaller companies that kill them off, someone will get that ****ed off or be on the edge of going to admin themselves that will do for them.
  24. Grosvenor Basingstoke Properties Ltd seems they do gift cards so the plot thickens, have they supplied gift cards and vouchers and PFC pocketed the cash ?
  25. hmm so they have no bank loans, but must have an account facility to pay bills, or maybe nor as they can't pay wages, the EPL look pretty silly now lifting the embargo so hope the website provider got cash, as the payment via the banking system isn't there until cleared. they have to be insolvent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
