well Smith won't be coming here this season 'Smith started the 2009-10 season in similar form, and was involved in all of Watford's first seven league goals, scoring two and assisting the other five' 3 team rule applies same as it does to Lambert and Hammond quote from wiki

If Man U and Liverpool ever fell behind with a payment then yes trouble would be brewing, unlikely though, far more likely is someone like Bolton and of course the blue few. Far smaller media interest in them so less exposure to the far eastern markets for publicity seeking buyers. Hull, Wigan, Wolves etc will far it harder to get funds whereas Spuds, West Ham any London club will find it easier. The CCC is where I reckon the fallout will be biggest, Watford , Palace, the two Sheffield clubs all have fans expecting to be at the top of the table and eating at the top table in terms of players

SMS is within the city where it should be, the politics of how it got there are from another era, and include not just Eastleigh but Hampshire Council's. It was both the saviour and part of the downfall, servicing its debt led to under-investment in the team, then the needle swung far to far the other way leading to last summer. However the blue few have nothing but a pile of envelopes unopened from the HMRC it seems from their club statement of denial. The other problem they have is no-one seems to know who's incharge or who owns what.

With transfer embargo in place any funds from sales go to the football debtors, that'll be why HMRC have started the ball rolling, the money from sales is ringfenced and they know that and if I remember correctly they no longer have preferred status as debtors. There are no rules regarding admin and points deduction in the PL its the FL that has the rules.I would expect UEFA to take an interest as well regarding debts to non UK clubs. Failure of a PL club will really shake the confidence of the finance industry in football, budgets hopefully will be cut, as said before Man U, Liverpool etc operating on huge debt. Also HMRC will already be keenly watching the tax evasion charges already in place.Effectively what HMRC are seeking is that the debt grows no larger regarding PAYE, the losers here will be the backroom staff, who won't get a transfer signing on fee when they close the door behind them.

LJ takes too long to turn, QE2 was quicker, his other faults are 1. losing his man over his shoulder when playing as RB 2. failing to recognise which foot the player opposing favours and then either forcing him inside or outside onto weaker foot 3. both the above compounded by lack of recovery speed that said a rolling ball and he makes a wicked cross just make it stationary and far too often it either floats like a cloud or just fails to take off at all, hits it with no pace when stationary

hmm well any list of any decade i'd add Stuart 'I don't want to be here' Ripley and the centreback from Arse, Scott Marshall who I think left for Brentford in 99. could add Mark Hughes for his goal scoring
-
perhaps Rovers will buy him back as they are the only club he could play for this season !!!!!!!!!!!
-
well at least we don't appear to be borrowing against next years tv money or scrambling around each month to pay the wages because we don't have more than one home game in the months fixture list. given that the club must be turning over more than last year on more than just gate receipts, factor in all the merchandise then I'd guess break even somewhere near the 12 to 13k mark. it highlights why season ticket sales are so important to clubs all the club needs to do is make more money than the interest on the sum invested and Markus will be happy
-
whether we make the playoffs or not I'm just enjoying watching the football, and Pardew's astute signings playing as a team
-
Ok , so will we lose Radi and Papa to their international sides?
-
AT a guess the 9th of Jan , but in the past the club have done deals with fewer tickets
-
The point is, that other peoples enjoyment of a pie and pint is ruining the OP's enjoyment of the game, if he wanted to see the back of heads he could go downstairs and stand in a queue for a pie and pint!!!
-
Well when we selected our season tickets we deliberately picked an end of a row against a barrier so no one pushes past us once we've arrived which is generally 10 to 15minutes before kickoff. I agree with the OP it is annoying, less so in the Northam as generally its standing anyway. Only ever left one game early that was a Loftus Road when in the Premiership and we were getting a tonking, see no other reason to leave early as no matter where you park you still generally end up queued somewhere. So despite the questions posted at the Solent Forum there can't be much wrong with the beer or the pies if so many are willing to get up early or queue for it!!!

I wonder if there had been internet forums when Le Tiss was in his best form whether we'd all of had him sold off? I don't personally know Adam, but whose to say that he's not happy with being idolized by the fans of the club he's grown up with? Seems Matt was tempted by several offers but remained here, yes I know the money is different now, but in reality footballers have always it seems earnt far more than the fan on the terrace, lets just enjoy watching the lad play, savour the goals and roll with it.

When Thomas played the previous half, it was noticeable that he was doing all the instructions, appears Murty felt the need to take charge, seems much like Claus, Radi needs someone strong in the backline to direct him,
-
can someone post up the words , all we could catch was goal machine and the other chorus had a line about Le Tiss, but due to the crowd attempting to sing three songs at once it wasn't clear. cheers
-
well they are already tracking wheelie bins so why not cars?
-
think the other thing with crosses is that we seem to all be drawn to the near post, no one is standing back on the edge of the box and running at the far post and able to arrive at the ball rather than the ball arrive at them. yesterday to many were guilty of expecting the ball to find them rather than them find the ball floated crosses all well and good but DC in the box would thrive on driven low and hard balls which in fairness is what happened when Waigo came on he gave a different approach with crosses from the byline, most of James and Hardings crosses are from too far out and they need to push on into the spaces which were there yesterday but not used, we seemed in a hurry to move the ball forward rather than seeking the better options
-
well perhaps next game will start 4 5 1, not sure why the gaps between CB's, but once Trottman went off it seem as though Thomas was directing the backline.
-
no ones mentioned the player who could'nt hit a barn door yet had played for Man U, Barcelona, and Chelsea Mark Hughes along with Stuart Ripley , both brought in when Dave Jones added 'quality' to the squad !

Well today whilst walking away from St Marys spotted Tiff Needell, didn't realise he was a fan, he said he'd just returned due to the results turning round, looks like he's brought a few thousand with him. Other than that guy off Shipwrecked who else has been spotted of the TV as a Saints fan actually at the games? We here quite often so and so is a fan but who has actually be spotted?
-
so with some on here condoning anything done by someone wearing a saints shirt then whats their view on Beattie, Claus, convicted drink drivers? BWP and Dyer last year? Fernandes before that? all wore the red and white and actually convicted?
