IF Guly has been retained for sentimental reasons i.e he's been with us in L1 and the Championship so he deserves a crack at the EPL it's a weak decision. There can be no sentiment in football, and I personally find it shocking that a player like him is getting a look in.

Hopefully this extension is simply so that we don't get put in the position of him leaving as a free agent.
