  1. He should never play for us again.
  2. Is this another one of those threads where the OP was in a positive fit of anger, so much so that he was determined to march straight back home and report his disgust on the SW forum?
  3. Did you wave your bracelets at them in disgust?
  4. Norwich 4-5 Saints under Alan Ball. We came back from 3-1 down to 3-3 then went 4-3 down before eventually pulling off an amazing win that went towards pulling off another great escape.
  5. There's no point arguing with idiots because they will just drag you down to their level.
  6. What policies? What cuts?
  7. A perfect illustration of where savings can be made if pressure is applied to the bloated public sector: Holidaymakers heading abroad after the summer, or those who won't need their passport for a few months, should consider waiting till September if they need to renew it as the fee will drop. The price drop comes after a restructuring programme within the Identity and Passport Service made savings of £40 million in the last financial year. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/travel/2012/07/passport-fees-dropping-this-autumn

    Billy Sharp

25 quid is a bit steep, even though it's for charity.
  9. Won't the home kit clash with your hair?

    Billy Sharp

It's a sad story, but it's good that Billy has used his position to bring some good out of it with the foundation. I'm sure he and Jade will make great parents in the future whether they are their own children or adopted.
  11. It's the only paper fully behind an exit from the EU, but yes i do agree that some of it's Diana/weather/miracle cures stories are a bit painful.
  12. It's not though, I mean it.
  13. It's the sister paper of the Daily Express (the most honourable paper on the market - which i read)
  14. Well a keeper simply needs to be told to bowl it out when possible as opposed to hoofing it up the pitch. It's nowhere near as complicated as training a new outfield player and familiarising him with other players play.
  15. That's how much I care about American sports.
  16. The point i'm making is that it takes less time to train a keeper how to slot into our style of play than to train an outfield player our style of play. Would you not agree?
  17. Maybe that's because nobody is interested in American football. It's ironic that the one time you post on a Saints related thread you talk about a completely different sport.
  18. It makes me laugh how Cortese talks like he's the man who decides. At the end of the day it isn't his money so such huge spending would not be his decision.
  19. I missed that one. How Vectis comes to that conclusion is mind boggling.
  20. Telfer versus guly. Telfer wins hands down.
  21. I'd disagree with a most of that. Beattie in his day was a good player for us, time will tell but I cannot see Lambert being as good at Prem level. Ormerod was also effective for us, wheras I cannot see Sharp cutting it at Prem level tbh. Lundekvam easily better than Fonte. And Lallana is a completely different player to Marsden, but Marsden was the key team player for us back then and made us tick so it's ludicrous to say Lallana is better.
  22. He's still a career politician and a geek. Surely even you must realise what a poor leader he is.
  23. I agree about Alan Johnson. Labour would obliterate the Tories with him in charge, just like the Tories would obliterate Labour if they had a credible leader. Sadly the Islington set have the monopoly when it comes to politics.
  24. It's not a game of football manager. Even if we spent the money and payed the wages required (which we won't), we are still a club in a backwater away from the bright lights of London and more appealing cities.
