  1. Parents used to sit in on classes when there was snow a few years ago and some teachers couldn't get in. I think it's a good idea. What you've got to appreciate is that the selfish behaviour of the millitant teachers affects others. Private sector workers get maybe 20-30 days holiday pey year so not everyone can take time off while you lot are striking.
  2. But how are you to know the intent of an intruder? There was a case a few weeks ago of some scumbag who broe into pensioners homes - sometimes he robbed them, sometimes he robbed and raped them. If someone breaks into your home IMO they should have no legal protection at all and homeowners should not be punished for any action they take.
  3. You do post some crap. F/ck it. This is stupid.
  4. OK, was just a query as a friend of mines wife works for the NHS and said it was. He must've been wrong.
  5. a closed shop.
  6. The Conservatives will win. The reduction in the size of parliament will, i expect, make it a more level playing field too. Currently Labour get disportionately more seats to votes - this I think may change... Also the Conservatives should be in a position to offer a few tax cuts in 2014.
  7. Out of interest is it a closed shop in teaching or the NHS?
  8. Is that like a daily echo poll? Any support there might be will wain once hard working people have to take time off work to look after their children while the millitant teachers enjoy even more time off.
  9. And it's about time the government stood firm. The electorate are behind the government and against the unions.
  10. I hope it rains.

Organise a Bunga Bunga party instead. If she's not amused you can just say you got mixed up.
  13. I picture BTF as Harriet Harman so I expect she meant the ginger rodent.
  14. What was he doing there at his age? It seems odd.
  15. This sort of thing only happens to liberals. I'm shocked.
  16. Education Secretary Michael Gove has warned teachers against taking part in Thursday's strikes - saying they risk losing respect for their profession http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-13918723 He is spot on.
  17. I detect a bit of inter band rivalry here.
  18. Agree about the antigallican. Awful pub.
  19. Yeah, that's about right.
  20. A hypothetcial question. Would it be considered shop lifting if someone went to buy a suitcase, and purchased one, and got it home only to find two further cases inside?
  21. Not in football, at least in the top flight. Did Nicola once talk of champions league football. I recollect something about this. Perhaps at a meal lucky fans were invited to.
