  1. Utter rubbish. Cortese came in with a clean sheet. Any negativity he is reaping was sown by him.
  2. No i'm not, i'm standing up for Nick Illingsworth despite being dead against the Trust etc because it is the right thing to do. You were banned from SaintsForever for expressing your right to freedom of speech and you were a tad annoyed by this weren't you - what's the difference between that and how Nick Illingsworth has been treated?
  3. On the pitch things are "currently" good, but I do think storm clouds are brewing as far as AP is concerned, and Cortese's PR skills (or lack of) are there for all to see. If Cortese was doind everything right - as he should be - we wouldn't be having this discussion, the Echo wouldn't have been banned, and Nick Illingsworth would have his season ticket.
  4. No Phil, I was one of the first to see through Wilde and took a lot of abuse for speaking my mind.
  5. Exactly. I too am/was a massive critic of the saints trust, but that is irrelevent because Nick Illingsworth has been treated like a piece of ****. I just hope those who think that the sun shines out of cortese's arse never get treated like nick has.
  6. There is more to running a football club than just results on the pitch. Cortese has single handedly created bad feeling with a growing number of customers and the local newspaper - that is not a good situation Nick.
  7. I don't think he will be completely happy because Cortese is not delivering on all fronts.
  8. Don't be so sure of that. Cortese isn't a man that likes to back down - he may well cut off his nose to spite his face.

    Cortese V Lowe

Think. I base this thought on the impression I got last season that Cortese wanted rid of Pardew then (remember the public criticism, subsequent response from AP that will have made a man like Cortese seethe, and the long long delay in Cortese issueing a statement backing the manager). I believe Cortese kept AP on last season because he calculated that sacking him would create a lot of fan unrest, so he is biding his time before wields the axe.
  10. If it was me i'd email all of markus Liebherrs other companies and one of messages (at least) would get back to him. ML might not act, but a seed would be planted and if and when NC acts disgracefully again ML would have see the pattern developing.
  11. These things can be achieved without the petty feuds. The Echo ban and now the way Nick has been treated is pathetic.

Let's see how long into next season Pardew is in the job. I think he'll be gone by Christmas.
  13. I hope Mr Liebherr does read this forum because Cortese needs reigning in before he does any more damage.
  14. If I was Nick Illingsworth I would contact the organ grinder (Markus Liebherr) and not the monkey (Nicola Cortese). To be refused a season ticket for exercising his right to free speech is disgraceful.
  15. Aren't you hilarious. If you have nothing worthwhile to add say nothing.

Post #1. Add Illingsworthgate to Cortese's list and the picture is complete.

I hate to say I told you so, but I did and I was right.
  18. For me to support the Turks joining the EU it would have to be on the conditions that freedom of movement doesn't apply - they have a massive population many of whom would flood into the UK if allowed, and that they get out of Cyprus.

After the season ticket repayment plan was withdrawn at the start of June, the Saints Trust issued a statement requesting Nicola Corstese to reconsider, this statement was printed in part by the Echo and also on this website. A letter was also sent to Nicola Cortese requesting a meeting and recieved an e mail acknowledgement that this had been recieved and would be dealt with 2. The Trust recieved no reply from the club regarding either the statement or the request for a meeting 3. The Trust then recieved other correspondence from the Club regarding other matters, the Trust complied with the Club's request to take down the Club badge amongst other images off of its website, indeed the Trust removed the entire website to ensure that there could be no confusion. 4. Shortly after the season ticket deadline I noticed that my money had been refunded by the club. I have to date recieved no correspondence from the club to explain this. 5. Despite repeated e mailed requests to various members of senior management at the club and attempts to speak to them on the phone I again have received no reason for this happening or until yesterday anyone who would actually acknowledge my correspondence. At present I do not have a season ticket for the forthcoming season, this is the first time this has been the case in appoximately 20 years, indeed since I first entered the Dell in January 1972, nearly 39 years ago I would hazard a guess that I have missed no more than around 20 matches or so. I have no idea what is going on, so i cannot give a reason as to what has happened so I am loathe to comment further at present . ................................................................... I am no fan of Nick Illingsworth or The Trust but do recognise that in his own world he thinks he's doing the right things despite everying he touches becoming a shambles. However I think Cortese needs bringing down a peg or two if what NI has said is true. All this crap about banning the club crest and returning Nicks money is diabolical. I am now firmly of the view that Nicola Cortese is bad news.
  20. You ****.
  21. Lewis Armit, 28, is a blacksmith from Edinburgh. Vice: How did you first hear about Stone Island? Lewis: I was 13 and in Italy on holiday with my family and saw a guy wearing it on a scooter, and Stone Island embedded itself in my brain from then on. What did you first buy? Back in 1996, I bought a jacket that I saved my first six weeks’ pay for and loved it like a member of my family. Why do you like it? It being the only label to make jackets for eccentric egomaniacs by eccentric egomaniacs. Why it worth so much money? Purely for the quality, and after seeing the development on fabrics, you really see the sheer work volume towards a finished piece. How did you like your trip? The same way Charlie liked the chocolate factory.:lol:
  22. To be fair i'd never heard of this brand, but thought it looked like a nice plain white polo for the beach. Your links are not appreciated.
  23. Your dream car.
